I had a sony DSC-w7 camera already. This housing is pricey at $270, but the cost of buying a new camera with housing was just as much or more.
The housing allows full control of all camera features and buttons and is expandable with Ikelite strobes and lenses (filters, macro, and wide angle), so it leaves plenty of room for expansion. The housing is big, compared to some of the housings that you buy with specific cameras, but the bulk is nice for getting a good grip (especially with 5 mm gloves, necessary for Northern California diving).
All in all, it's a great housing if you already own the camera!
