I shoot a lot of advertising, more still than video. I much prefer having a removeable eye piece (like the Zacuto that snaps on), but everyone seems to sell the one that mounts on the base .... and all my cameras 5D's and 7D's I have changed to Arca swiss mounts. I purchased this as it was inexpensive enough for me to give it a shot. It is light, I really like the way it snaps on and off! I can focus. It is WAY better than the Hoodman and the crappy elastic bands and the price point is awesome!
I would give this 5 stars if the build quality holds up over time. But for now excellent value!
