The adapter looks well-made and the "Made In Germany" label gives you a distinct warm fuzzy feeling when most photo gear these days is made in China :-)
However:
The mounting to the camera is a bit lose (rotational play) which is exactly the complaint I read in reviews of the lower-priced competitors. When using with older Nikkors that have a stiffer focus ring, this gets very annoying. That would be ok if I paid $20 but at this price point I expected mechanical perfection.
The 2nd problem is the aperture ring for G lenses is not quite so useful after all. It's not possible to dial-in a specific aperture like f/4, f/8, etc. If you're just shooting casually that's fine, you can open and close the aperture by trial and error. But if you have a G lens that performs optimally at a very specific aperture, it is very difficult to do it quickly and correctly while using this adapter. Again, on a $20 adapter that might be fine, but for the price paid for this adapter I expected much better integration with the Nikon system.
