I spent several months looking at Laser Rangefinders. I am an Oregon Master Hunter and hunt year round. I hunt in the mountains of Oregon where the animal you are hunting is both illusive and quick. I needed a rangefinder that was easy to use, quick to range, account for slope and weight of projectile, and easy to read results. It also had to be rugged and waterproof. After trying many many rangefinders I selected the Leupold RX-1000i, it met all of my criteria and has all of the features I wanted. There are some more expensive and some cheaper, but with this one is well worth the price and has all of the features any hunter needs. I liked it enough I bought a second one for my Son who hunts in Texas and here in Oregon with me. I would recommend the Leupold RX-1000i TBR, DNA to anyone.
