I was in an internal battle as to whether or not I should get the CDJ-900 or the CDJ-2000. The price gap is quite a bit but those CDJ2000s just look amazing. I ended up getting these along with the DJM700. I could not have made a better decision in my opinion. There are so many different things the CDJ900s can do that it will take you a while to make use of every single feature before you are wanting even more. Combine this with RekordBox and you can really take your sets to the next level IMO. I'm not ready to connect my gear to my MBP and run Traktor to run my sets yet. I enjoy the lack of auto-beatmatching and I am really impressed with the pitch control. Very smooth for when you're pitch bending.
Pros:

Extremely reliable
RekordBox isn't amazing but it gets the job done and they are constantly updating
MAKE SURE to pay attention to firmware updates on Pioneer's site
Cons:
I wish Hot Cue was on this model
IDK why they decided to pass on the white light going around the platter, it is nice to be able to see what you're touching in dark environments (clubs/bars/basements)
