I had been looking for a digital microscope for a project i wanted to get started for a while. I didn't have the time to write a grant proposal for an expensive research scope so i was looking around for a cheap scope to serve until i could get a better one. AFter reading some good reviews on this series of scopes here on amazon i decided to give this particular scope a try.
It is so far beyond my expectations!!! It is sharp, clear and powerful! and as a biology professor i have used my fair share of scope over the years. I am in love with this scope!
I also purchased the dry dark-field condensor that is available for the scope AmScope Dry Darkfield Condenser For Compound Microscopes, so far i have only looked at hair samples under dark field illumination but WOW what i have seen blows the other scopes that we have (that are up to 10x the cost) completely out of the water!!
