Just received this lens along with a K-5IIs. I was very disappointed that the lens was shipped without the hood, or any paperwork. No warranty, no manual, or no registration card. The lens did not even come in a Pentax box. The lens seems okay did not really use much because I sending it back. I'm concerned that the lens may be gray market. Electronics Basket was the seller. Beware.
Update: I shipped the lens from Electronics Basket back (it was fulfilled by Amazon so no problem). I reordered the lens that this time was sold by Emmy and also fulfilled by Amazon. The lens arrived in the Pentax box, all manuals and warranty included, and the Pentax lens hood was with it too! On top of that the lens sold for $50 less than the one from Electronics Basket. I've changed my rating to 5 stars. Just started using the lens and so far I love it. Very sharp images and the AF is silent.
