Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di LD Macro 1:2 Zoom Lens with 3
I purchased this lens to take on vacation so I did a trial run on the weekend. I was pleased with my results. I did find it a little hard to switch between the telephoto and the macro settings. When using macro I found I needed to pull away from my subject to have the camera readjust so I could switch back to standard telephoto. A little time consuming but nothing that I can't live with. It is surprisingly light weight but does need to be supported to minimize camera shake. The price was great as it included the UV, Florescent, and polarizing filters in a nice pleather case, as well as a cleaning kit
