This was an incredibly easy to use webcam, which is awesome since I don't have a lot of experience with them. I've seen my friends & family use them but I've never actually set one up myself before now. It was overall a good experience.

I have to admit that I'm not the most tech savvy person that's posted a review, so my review will be very much from the average non-computer savvy viewpoint. The lighting on this is very good & I liked that I was able to situate the webcam onto my laptop, as my regular desktop is currently on the fritz. Once set onto your computer, you can position the camera head however you like. I also liked that it had good lightI was very much afraid that this would show up dark like some of the digital cameras I've owned (or my cell phone camera), so that was a plus.

For me the greatest thing about this was how easy it was to upload, use & such. The software actually comes with a movie maker, which could be very good for those who want to do a little something extra with their camera. For the price this is currently selling for, this seems like it is a very good deal. The only people I think would probably want to go elsewhere are the ones who want something a little more sophisticatedI do know that there are webcams out there that are fancier than this, although for the average consumer this should be all you need.

I purchased the Moto X from Sprint about a week ago, taking advantage of their new One Up program (phone cost me .42). A little background to my Smartphone usage. My first Smartphone was the HTC Incredible, so I have an extremely high standard for what a good Smartphone is. I loved the Incredible. I followed that up with the Samsung Galaxy S2, to extreme disappointment. What a hunk of crap that phone was. So, when the opportunity arose to dump the crap box ahead of my contract renewal, I jumped on it.

I debated between going back to HTC with the One or going with the new Motorola Moto X. I was hesitant at first about the X, but figured, it's made by Google, why wouldn't it be great? I was correct. The key to making the most out of this phone is to not gimp it out. Use Google, leave the GPS and WiFi on. The battery life is outstanding and lasts well into a day and a half even with all the features turned on. The bonus to letting the phone do what it does is it makes life better. This morning I had an up to the minute traffic update on my phone 10 minutes to my normal leaving time. It knows my house and my work. The voice commands are simple (despite what others are saying) and work amazing well if you take the time to really learn them. It connects to my Jabra Bluetooth speaker amazingly fast and uses all the Bluetooth controls with no setup (there is no need to use the activation phrase with Bluetooth, it just knows). In short, this is what a Smartphone should be. Smart. Don't be lazy in the first week or so of owning the phone and the phone will learn. Then, by all means, be lazy. Once trained, the phone knows what you want, it's a little freaky but totally worth it.

Good Product for the price! it feels a little weird in the shoulder but the fact that has that inverted U shape helps you rest more than others Rigs a have tried. Canon WP-DC45 Waterproof Underwater Housing Case for PowerShot

I'm very happy with this housing seems to be well constructed. The housing came with some silicone gel so you can apply it on the gasket and will have more to use in future. The buttons are clearly indicated so you can operate the camera even in murky waters where visibility is very low. The size is a little big and will not fit in my BCD pocket but the housing did come with two straps one for the neck and the other for the wrist. The LCD screen protection wasn't so good, tried to apply it two times and couldn't get the bubbles out without scratching the film. I have used better quality film before and this one just didn't work. Overall if you plan to do some underwater photography I would recommend using this product. I have purchased this housing to use with my Canon D20. Although the camera is rated for 33ft but I'm not going to gamble and will use the housing always when in water.

I started with the DVC200, and added the middle extension to take it to the DVC250 model. I recently noticed this model, and decided I needed the new camera mount this jib sports. I contacted ProAm, and they sold me the camera mount from the 210 along with an extension plate which will allow me to add the underslung motorized pan and tilt head later on. As is, the new mount and extension plate allow for much better, and more free motions of the Bescor pan and tilt head without cables snagging on the jib as with the side-slung mount. I only had to run my control cables along the upper surface of the arm to better reach the camera.

The new mount on the DVC210 really helps to fly heavier cameras than the old side-slung models. I nolonger have that annoying problem with the weight of a camera causing several degrees of roll to be applied to the side-slung mount. I think the jib even feels a little smoother with the new mount.

I've also noticed that you can now pivot the jib through much wider lateral angles that won't put the end of the jib into frame as with the old side-slung mount.

The forward-slung nature of the mount with an extension plate, or even without it, makes it much easier to do camera end operations, too.

I also modified my DVC50 with the new camera mount and extension plate.

I like that the weight mount for the 210 is centered, and on top of the arm now. That helps improve safety, and enhances operation of the jib. I wish my jib had that new feature. Not a big problem having side weights as you can simply balance them on both sides of the jib. :)

Nikon 17-35mm f/2.8D ED-IF AF-S Zoom Nikkor Lens for Nikon

This lens is widely held to be one of the best if not the best wide angle professional zoom lens for 35mm and Digital SLRs compatible with Nikon's lens system. I've had mine for about 6 months on a Nikon D-100 and have absolutely nothing I don't like about it. It's sharp from corner to corner at all zoom settings and any pincusion destortion is negligible even at 17mm @ f2.8. The AFS focusing motor is lightning fast and accurate. Filter size is 77mm, same as my Nikkor 70-200mm f/2.8G ED-IF AF-S VR lens. Since filters this size aren't cheap, it's nice to be able to share. This lens will support 35mm, APS, and DX format film and digital sensor sizes and comes with a 5-year warranty. If you want the best, and can afford it, you won't be sorry you purchased this lens.

I bought this phone to replace my LG 900g from Net10. And while it has more features, it may not necessarily be the best upgrade from a lower end phone. So here are some pros and cons to help you decide.

Pros:

+ Muve Musicmy favorite feature about this phone as $55 dollars not only gets you 1000 talk mins, and unlimited texts and 3g Web/Data, it gets you unlimited music downloaded. Granted, it has it's faults like songs don't download sometimes I just re-download and it's fine. It has Shazam (which is the only thing in Muve that works over wi-fi) its a awesome feature nonetheless

+ 3G speednow where I live (30 miles east of Washington DC) I get pretty good 3G service (sometimes down in the basement) so this is a great thing to have since Foursquare, Facebook, & Twitter all work and update pretty quick, I do get a couple of very brief dead zones (where I don't get signal) I still have good service overall. I haven't tried the partner service yet but will when I go on vacation to the beach in a few weeks.

+ Full Google Play StoreAnother thing I like is that this phone has the full (for the most part) Google Play store. So if you want to download your favorite sports, music, or social apps, its all there. I could find Shazam and Soundhound as standalone apps, but again just use Shazam inside of the Muve Music app.

Now on to the cons:

StorageOne of my biggest gripes with this phone is the internal (and even the SD card that came with this phone) has very little storage space. After installing all of my favorite apps (Foursquare, Tweetdeck, JuiceDefender, ESPN, among others) I only had 15MB internally! That kind of disappoints me as I thought a smartphone would have more storage, and even the SD card which claimed to be 4GB only had 1GB available (I knew about Muve taking up 3GB), seems like the only solution is to root and remove bloatware (which I will do one I get a good USB cable) and then get a larger SD card.

Random shutoffsThis may be a bug but this phone randomly shuts off while in sleep mode. For example, if i'm at work and I use the phone and then put it in my pocket and then go to use it later, I press the power button and its off!! Now I just turn it back on and ignore it but if your turn it back on 4-5 times a day it gets annoying. So be prepared.

CameraOk, i'll be flat out honest on this one, the camera sucks. Even using a burst camera app doesn't help it. So if you want a phone with a good camera looks elsewhere

Neutrals, could go either way:

+/Battery lifeOut of the box the battery life is horrible, but a way to improve the battery life is to download JuiceDefender and put it in "aggressive" mode, it really extended my battery from 5-6 hours (if that) to 9-10 hours (no joke!) so i'm leaning to towards positive but we will see

Final thoughts:

The Score is my first Android smartphone and my first Cricket phone and while Cricket's service is not so great for some, it is for me. And it is the cheapest phone, which is obvious by some bugs. Good phone overall and 4 stars. Also, if you head over to Kmart this phone is only $39 until 6/17. So you only pay around $100! Great deal!

EDIT 7/18: Since I wrote my review I have rooted the phone and removed the bloatware, and I am currently sitting at around 35 MB of internal memory, also I put in a 8GB SD card. These things have made storage issues nonexistent. As for the random shutoffs they are still there and still annoying, I have been looking at other phones just in case, but all is well now.

EDIT 8/6: I have found out that by putting the phone in airplane mode, the phone would not shut off in airplane mode (which also saves battery TREMENDOUSLY!), just make sure you have a WiFi and airplane toggle widget.

EDIT 8/18: I have now flashed a custom ROM (exile kitchen) and partitioned the SD card and now have 111 MB of free space internally, along with Adobe Flash (paired with an older version of Dolphin Browser), the phone is now a sure fire winner for anyone wanting a cheap Android phone that (with a few modifications) could be great. Also to those who are whining about how "bad" this phone is may need to second guess themselves!

Nikon charges a premium for the 58/1.4g and purchasing this lens is a very personal decision. Why would you buy this 58? If you want gorgeous bokeh and out of focus rendering. If you want shallow DOF and a dreamy look or glow to your portraits. If you want a superb low light lens. If you want a lens that takes the place of a 50 and 85 in your camera bag. In fact the last reason does not get enough attention. Not perfectly, but this lens can produce portraits similar to the 85 while retaining the versatility of the 50. Kind of a two for one lens deal. There are other reasons, but these should suffice.

And of course there are a couple of things to consider. At close distance, the DOF is very thin so I recommend making certain the focus is fine tuned to your camera. The lens has been criticized for lack of sharpness wide open. No question, the lens is sharper at f2, but IMO sharpness is not an issue wide open as long as focus is spot on.

The lens is about the same size and weight as the 85/1.8g and handles and balances fine on a D800e. Focus speed is fast and consistent in good light and bad. No complaints.

Nikon charges a premium going from the 85/1.8g to the 85/1.4g, from the 50/1.8g to the 50/1.4g. The only question is whether it's worth paying a premium for the 58/1.4g and that is a decision you must make. I did and am very pleased.

I am giving it 5 star rating for the amount of items that came along with this package is fair enough. I was looking for an upgrade to my current camera for the one I have is a fuji pocket camera which is ok but failed in so many good moments. The good things about this package are well the two Nikon lenses, Precision lenses that attach to your Nikon lenses gives you a wide view look and a fish eye view, extra battery, memory card and a tripod for your camera. I did not like the Nikon carrying case for its to big but it will carry everything that is included in this package but I just transfer the lenses and camera to a different smaller bag when I go out on a trip; also I recommend you buy a better screen protector for the one they supply you with is terrible to the touch and you have to cut it with scissors to fit your screen. The pictures I took with this camera are excellent crisp and clear and I have no regrets in spending what I did for this camera for it has a quality feel and look to it. I choose this model over the D3200 mainly for the pull out monitor feature which prove to be a wise choice for those tough angles when you have to get down close to the floor or if you choose to take picture of you with the family you can turn the display facing out were you can see yourself prior to clicking on the remote to take a picture. The remote is included but the wireless receiver is not I did select to buy this extra add on separately myself for you can use your smart phone as a controller/viewer just download the app for it or transfer your pictures via wireless.

I love this camera and do recommend it. Pros: Takes amazing zoom photos, (that far away butterfly becomes a close up beauty!) The ability to start recording at the touch of a button (you had to turn a dial on my old camera which doesn't sound like a big deal but on this camera it's so much easier to catch the unexpected moments) Cons: the zoom makes this camera not compact enough to throw in your purse, it's awkward to carry around on the neck strap if you are leaning over to play or walk with a toddler because the camera is so heavy it swings around and bumps the toddler's head if you're not holding it with your other hand, the color pop feature, especially on the black and white photo setting is really cool so far the color options don't really match up to most of what I see in my every day life, I've only had luck with one of the yellow and one of the blue shades, the rechargeable battery pack doesn't indicate when the batteries are done charging. Overall a nice camera!

Canon Digital Rebel XT 8MP Digital SLR Camera with EF-S 17-85mm

The Rebel XT was the smallest, lightest Canon digital SLR ever made at the time (and perhaps still). For anyone who doesn't want to lug around something large and heavy, but who wants the quality and speed that only a DSLR can deliver, this camera remains a top choice. Although 8 MP is considered low by many today, unless you are a pro (doubtful for this choice) or planning on blowing up a large number of your shots into posters, 8MP remains more than adequate for everyday shooting.

For a while after having this camera, I reverted to some of the more expensive P&S ultrazoom compacts. However, speed of shooting was always a bit of an annoyance with those cameras. Even the fastest simply cannot compete with this camera. It has enough automatic focusing features to deliver excellent color balance and sharpness for when you don't want to bother with manual shooting; when you DO want to make your own choices, however, you will find that it's 1/4000 max speed, excellent CMOS sensor, and RAW shooting capabilities will give you plenty to work with.

Now that manufacturers have to focus their efforts on providing video capability as well as still photography, cameras such as the Rebel XT, designed for stills only, show the excellence achieved from focusing on the one goal.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program USB 3.0 is a major improvement over the older 2.0 version, with speed up to 5 Gigabits/sec (versus 480 Megabits/sec of USB 2.0). Computers with USB 3.0 are still relatively rare but this SEAGATE Expansion 500 GB USB 3.0 External Hard Drive STAX500102 is backward-compatible to USB 2.0, which is what I got in my HP desktop. There was no connectivity problem. The hard drive is plug-N-play; within seconds after I plugged it in, it was up and running. A USB 3.0 cable is included. It is different in construction from USB 2.0 cables. A tiny green LED lights up when the connection is made. Like most of the portable hard drives, power is drawn from the computer via the USB cable. No AC transformer or cord is necessary. This hard drive is cool to the touch, even after prolonged usage. This drive is highly portable, measuring 3-1/4" X 5-3/8" X 5/8" thick. A backup software called Memeo is included. I did not install it. Frankly, I was leery of cluttering up my hard drive with unfamiliar programs. I don't have USB 3.0, but I can see the logic of buying a USB 3.0 drive for a computer with USB 2.0, because USB 3.0 will be the standard in a few years. I can't speak to the drive's reliability, but I own two Seagate external hard drives and they have been very reliable.

I have owned and operated nearly a dozen different ELPH's. The specs on this camera are great, but Canon really made a mistake with the touchscreen. First of all, this screen, while dense with pixels, is not as "rich" as previous models in terms of saturation. Regarding the "touch" controls, the screen is slow to respond, and requires too many motions and movements with your fingers to accomplish what was very quick on previous "button" models. If your fingers are medium or large size, you will have great difficulty scrolling through menus. For me, it was extremely frustrating and ended up in a return. I think the move to plastic for the exterior case was a mistake. The 320HS felt cheap in comparison to the previous models which came with all metal bodies. While this camera overcomes many of the negatives of the 310HS model, I do not believe that it is an overall better option than the 300HS, which can be picked up for about half the price. If however, you expect to use the WiFi feature, then please be aware that the 300HS does not support it.

I bought this TV for a very bright room with lots of sunlight, as this IPS LED seemed brighter than any plasma display, and without the energy draw or heat of a plasma. I'm exceptionally happy with this great TV on many levels.

Highlights of why I like this television:

I have seen the future and it's clearly LED. The picture quality of this LED TV is top-notch. The brightness and the colors are fantastic, showing a truly stunning picture with an extremely wide viewing angle from the sides that really is a hair away from 180°. It's also very bright, noticeably brighter than a plasma TV. While it's not quite as good at displaying pure black and picture uniformity in comparison to high-end videophile plasmas that costs thousands more, it's really not far off. It's the best I've seen from an LCD/LED set and as good or better than mainstream plasmas.

From reading Internet forums, I appear to be the one person on the planet who prefers motion interpolation, which Panasonic calls "Motion Picture Setting" and this TV allows four settings: Off/Weak/Medium/Strong. Basically, I prefer life-like video, with natural motion that feels like I am watching in-person on a stage or set rather than film or video, and "Strong" pretty much delivers that. 1080p HD sources look like I'm watching a play with the action unfolding live in front of me. For sports, the experience is unrivaled and truly pulls you into the action. Or, if you hate this so-called "Soap Opera Effect" and prefer traditional film/video movement, then you can turn this feature off. And if you need very fast response, there's also a Game mode.

I was completely unprepared for being blown away by this TV's 3D picture. I've played with 3D TV before, but somehow other TVs with bulky electro-mechanical active shutter 3D glasses always let me down due to the flicker, which distracted me from enjoying the 3D effect. I tried an LG passive 3D TV last year, and the effect was "dulled" compared to active 3D TV so I wrote off the whole 3D-at-home thing as immature technology. Not any more. The state-of-the-art has apparently changed in one year. This TV is the best of both worlds (active-like effect/passive-like ease and no flicker) and comes with four pairs of lightweight passive polarized 3D theater glasses (TY-EP3D10), and frankly, the effect is amazing with none of the flicker of active glasses. I watched several Blu-ray 3D movies along with my cable company's 3D channels and 3D VOD. All I can say is... wow. It's not only very watchable, it's incredible. Movies are flat-out fun. Sports on ESPN 3D are amazing. Interestingly, the TV has a 2D-3D conversion function which is really quite good; although it lacks the deep depth of native 3D content, whatever magic it uses to turn 2D into 3D is remarkably effective. I had no idea passive 3D TV could be this good.

The TV has a good array of inputs: 4 HDMI 1.4 ports with ARC, 2 USB 2.0 ports, 1 set of component (Y/Pb/Pr) or composite video & analog stereo audio RCA connectors (via included proprietary adapter), 1 PC VGA connector, 1 coax RF port, 1 SDXC card slot, and 1 Fast Ethernet jack. WiFi is built-in, with no dongle required, and therefore does not take up a USB port. The TV's black stand and black/clear frame are attractive, making it look stylish in my living room. And the glossy black remote is very nice, with illuminated buttons.

Internet TV is via Panasonic's smart TV system called VIERA Connect. It's simple, and has applications included for subscription services like Netflix, Amazon Instant Video, Hulu Plus, MLB.TV and others. I stream videos from Amazon Prime and it works great with high quality HD. Another standout is the Skype app, which requires the optional TY-CC20W camera with inbound calls integrated into the watching experience. Audio and video Skype calls can be received or dismissed while watching something else, and the overall Skype experience is simple and straightforward with very high quality video calls. Outbound calls require going into VIERA Connect, and then launching Skype. Perhaps initiating an outbound call while watching other content could also be similarly better integrated in the future with fewer button presses?

Sound is very good for a flat screen TV, and is certainly more than I was expecting. Don't expect miracles, the integrated speakers are small and on the bottom of the frame facing down, and compared with an external sound bar or home theater system they're missing bass and some midrange. But, for a panel TV, the sound is really very good.

Quibbles, as overall it's still an outstanding TV:

The digital audio out (TOSLINK optical) doesn't pass through everything, as surround sound (DD/DTS) does not get passed from HDMI connections (silence or static instead) and audio from Skype is not passed at all (probably for echo-cancellation reasons). In both cases the TV speakers still work if enabled.

The VIERA Remote App on iOS slow and clunky, although I suppose it's nice to have it as an option. It makes the iPhone vibrate with every remote button press. I found it not a particularly useful gadget compared to the normal infrared remote.

By default, the TV shows sponsored banner ads upon startup (VIERA Connect Banner) and in the VIERA Connect app selection screen. I suppose this pervasive advertising is the future of digital media, but it seems unnecessarily intrusive on your own TV as it's turning on. You can disable the startup advertisement, and move the VIERA Connect ad app to another app page with seldom-used applications. However, if you disable the startup banner ad, and you try to use IPTV in the first 15 seconds or so after turning the TV on, you get an error message saying the TV needs an Internet connection.

The DLNA Media Player isn't quite full-featured enough to be the primary home network media player for me, even though its user interface is fast and simple. The first major flaw is that while it plays many media formats, such as MKV/H.264, it doesn't support some exceptionally common media formats like AVI files ("Cannot read file"). What is perplexing is the FAQ on the Panasonic web site says certain AVI files are supported. It may not be that AVI is the actual problem, but any media in any container encoded with MPEG-4 Visual such as DivX/Xvid/Nero Direct/3ivx/QuickTime 6 video codecs ("Cannot read file") and that just happens to be the most common format for AVI video. Also, media encoded with a DTS audio codec plays without any audio ("Audio format not supported"); it would have been nice if digital audio would at least be passed unmodified through to the digital audio out port. Other formats trip it up as well. I tried a media file that contained two audio tracks (one in German, the second in English) and while the menu appeared like one could choose which track plays, it only displayed and played the first track. The second major flaw is that it immediately begins playing the highlighted video in a preview window as you move up and down your list of media, including its audio, which is not only annoying but also places a burden on the media server if the media needs transcoding. This might be the case, for example, if you configure your DLNA Media Server to transcode AVI/MPEG-4/DTS files in order to even have them play at all with this TV's media player.

The only complete miss on this TV: I found the web browser pure misery to use with the included infrared remote. While I could fumble through navigation using the VIERA Remote App from my iPhone, I couldn't get any site with video to work. It's one of the worst overall web browsing experiences I've ever encountered. In my opinion, the web browser is essentially unusable unless used as an instrument of torture. In such cases, I suspect it would be effective in extracting information from the most hardened target. ("I'll talk, just make it stop!")

But, the issues are minor compared to the positives: the best-in-class plasma-beating picture, 3D quality and great IPTV functionality. Overall, this is a great TV.

The move to the Nikon D300 was made to take advantages of the newer features that were not present (especially the greater pixel capacity) in the D100 which I had for several years. It was time to move up.

The screen is larger with the ability to display additional information regarding exposure etc. The controls are neatly arranged and handle better than the D100 and it is more comfortable your hands. Auto focus and exposure metering are much more advanced over the D100.

While I am still very much in the "learn mode" with this camera I am satisfied the move was worth it. Having not moved to the D200 when it came out I cannot comment on the value of moving from that model to the D300.

I had shopped around on the web only to find multiple cases of much lower prices but they did not include the typical box items of the charger, battery etc. In this regard be careful of the lo-ball prices.
