I'm not a professional photographer, more of a hobbyist, but I love this camera. Its lightweight-and I thought that was a con in the beginning, but I've toted around a metal-clad Nikon D70 for the longest time, and sometimes 2 hours into a shoot my hand is literally tired from holding it for so long. Because this camera is compact, I dont worry about bumping it around as much, and as far as the photos, it blows my D70 out of the water as far as clarity. My D70, though, does take pictures FASTER than this T3... sometimes I have to wait as much as 5-7 seconds in between shots because its "busy" (read: very frustrating when trying to capture moments) but since I mostly shoot with a 2nd shooter we dont seem to miss much. Definite recommend for a hobbyist like myself or a newbie who wants to graduate from a pocket camera.
