There is one thing that is worth noting from the test I ran where I was able to read 1 GB of data from a SD card 72 times on a charge. If you add the time before and after the actual transfer where the disk was still spinning it comes to 2.3 hours which is very close to the manufacturers spec's. (It's nice that what they claim is what you can expect.)
Other things I liked:
The interface is simple one button that you can press and lever up or down.
The display is clear and provides an abundance of useful information. At a glance you know how much battery and space is left, the status of your previous transfer, and the status of any transfer that is currently underway.
You have the option to either copy of "copy and verify" when reading from media.
The device identifies media that had been previously read. You get the option to import a new copy, verify the media against the copy that is already there, or delete what's on the media.
There is a optional external battery pack so you can run the thing even after the internal battery dies.
The internal drive is easily replaced with anything that's 2.5" and SATA. This becomes real interesting when the price of SSDs drops.
