I ordered this item on 11/18 and received it on 11/28, which was within the promised delivery window. The contents of the box were well packed and protected. All items arrived new and in their original packaging as advertised. The wired remote shutter that I received was a different brand (Photive instead of Vivitar) but the item looks to be of good quality and worked with my D5100 so the different brand wasn't an issue for me.
In observation of some statements made by other reviewers, along with a few of my own:
1) The 10" spider tripod will not fully support the weight of my D5100 but with the included 57" tripod and the 67" monopod, the spider tripod was kind of a bonus item for me. I will use it with my Samsung video camera and other smaller digital camera.
2) As I stated above the wired remote shutter worked fine for me. There is a "safety" position on the remote that prevents the camera from taking a picture so perhaps that was the issue.
3) The HDMI cable was of higher quality than I expected and has a protective woven wrap around the cable to protect it from wear.
4) If your computer does not have a SD card reader or your computer will not read the newer SDHC cards then the USB adapter in this kit is very useful.
5) To paraphrase another reviewer, the value of this bundle is too good to pass up. If you or someone you know needs a good startup accessory kit for a Nikon DSLR then this is it.
In summary, I am very happy with my purchase and the value of this offering. If one was to locate and purchase all these items individually then I guarantee it will cost more than the $69.95 + $10 shipping that ButterflyPhoto sells this bundle for.
