I have a pair of these particular binoculars so I know what I'm talking about when I say that they are absolutely brilliant and unbelievably powerful! I originally read up on Sunagor who are well known for quality ultra powerful binoculars in Europe and this is their top model and apparently the world's most powerful. With a zoom magnification of 30X going up to 160X, I reckon that's true there's nothing else I've seen out there that offers this amount of power and they are capable of viewing over huge distances.
They are beautifully made (Japanese) and have those higher grade bak-4 prisms with multi-coated lenses. The objective front lens size is 70mm so although these babies are a fair size, they're manageable. I use a tripod with them at the higher magnifications because it's pretty difficult to handhold them steady at 160X. They actually come with a tripod adapter for that purpose. What I will add is that to compare a pair of regular 20X70 binocs to these Sunagor Megazooms is like comparing a regular car to racing car. Try them and you'll see what I mean.
