The item arrived on time and the packaging was okay, but not great. Nevertheless, the lens worked as advertised. When ordering this lens make sure to note which camera the adapter mounting ring is for as there are more than one being listed on Amazon.com. This is as stated in the ad a manual zoom and focus telephoto lens. If you want an auto focus and zoom lens (wouldn't we all) you will have to pay a lot more than the asking price for this lens. The lens does take clear photos. The few I have taken shown no evidence of poor image resolution near the edges. As with any telephoto lens you will need a good tripod or mono pod to steady the image. If you're looking to take pictures of celestial objects you will need a tripod with a counter weight system, if not don't let go of the camera after positioning it.
