Problem is today alot of things are going HD and this DVR is not able to handle those. However I do believe that some new HD cameras can still spit out Standard Def so this product still has some life in it still. I like the D1 capability...easy menu etc... a well made and backed up product... Swann has been doing this for a long time and you want someone with experience and a warranty centre of some kind.
