This warranty is an essential part of the tool kit for anyone who values their investment in photographic equipment. I shoot mostly landscapes now, and recently, while wading across a stream to get a better composition for my shot, I slipped on slick rocks and fell into the stream. I was lucky to keep the camera in hand and out of the water, but it was comforting to know that with this accidental damage warranty I would have been covered if things had gone differently. When you add free annual sensor/camera cleanings to the three year warranty, it is something I think everyone should buy. I price all my camera purchases with the idea that I will be purchasing the Mack Diamond warranty as well.
