Definitely excellent camera, with this price and this features but during your night shots that is almost impossible to have a stable shot. Also its photo editor is terrible. So I might say between average and good.

THE GOOD

Passable voice quality. (Maybe it's just because it's GSM technology, and coverage is not fantastic in outside of cities.)
Slim profile, though a little heavier than my previous handset
Nice colors in screen. Great ringtone sounds. Though these are pretty standard nowadays.
Decent bluetooth range. Paired this with a Jabra BT800 headset and I can run into the coin laundry with my ear piece and still connect with the phone in the car outside.
THE BAD

Short battery life. 7 hours talk-time as advertised is a imaginary. Phone starts to beep after 2-3 hrs of talking.
Organizer (calendar, alarm, notes, contacts) doesn't sync correctly with Outlook.
Oily screens!! The inside and outside screens and the metallic keypad get oily fingerprints after every use (is it just my skin?!) Looks yucky and kinda destroys all the aesthetics.
Tried wiping now and then but notice minor scratches start to accumulate. (My clothes are not always cotton and I don't usually carry eye glass cloth.)
Low camera resolution. Other new phones have close to twice that resolution. Pics always kinda dark.
Camera doesn't take video.
No MP3 or radio. Some of the newer Nokia and Sony models are close to iPod Shuffle capacity already.

Purchased this as already had the camera and wanted something for both scuba and snorkeling. Only have had an opportunity to use for one trip and the ocean was a bit murky so didn't get the full experience. But the whole system with the flash worked right out of the box with no issues e.g. no leaking. It was easy to set up and take pics but need more practice to get the best pictures. The top adjustment to change the mode needs a bit of adjustment to turn more easily. The lever for taking pics was easy to use.

This is a really nice radio. I haven't used the Bluetooth yet as I just installed it two days ago. It was easy to install with the Metra installation kit and the F-150 specific wiring harness. The controls are fairly simple. The sound from my four Pioneer door speakers is great. I'm using the subwoofer out wire to send bass to my 10 in. Kicker sub. This wire is great because it allows you to adjust the bass level directly from the head unit. The DVD player is an added bonus (BTW, the green parking brake wire that allows you to view a DVD only when the parking is applied simply has to have a good ground to work. I grounded mine to one of the dash support bars directly behind where the radio's installed). I only wish JVC would have included a carrying case for the detached faceplate. I found that a rectangular pistol case works very well. All in all, a great stereo with easy to use controls, wonderful sound, and many customizable features. I'd buy one again.
JVC GCQX5HDU 3MP Digital Still Camera w/ 2x Optical Zoom
Fabulous camera, quite technical to use, but the automatic setting works flawlessly. One drawback is the short lifespan of the battery, but it does recharge quickly and you can use the ac cord. Another bonus is the attachment to take old negatives and scan them to digital images.

I experienced this during a private demonstration at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) this year. Sony gave a very nice pitch that since most movies are filmed in 4k or higher, getting content to a 4k media server is going to be coming "very soon". Sony demonstrated two forms of content. The first format was a James Bond trailer for their upcoming movie, directly from a 4k server. It was flawless, and in fact if you pay too close attention to the details, you really can see too much with the picture. Regardless, the action on the movie trailer was almost straight out from the theater.
The second format presented was a clip from a Tony Bennett concert on Blu Ray up-scaled to 4k. I did not see much of a difference between the up-scaled version and watching it on a regular 1080p projector. I currently have a Sony VPLHW30ES projecting on a 170" diagonal screen.
My major disappointment? CONTENT. It's very nice that we're embarking on the Ultra HD / 4K avenue of television, but it would be hard for the average consumer to justify spending this price unless you are creating your own content. Apple did not release the iPod without content to go along with it -so unless you are shooting, editing, or doing private screenings of your own 4k content, I say wait it out until the prices drop below $5k.
