Nice unit, the only down side is the Microsoft OS 25 User Limit. Nice unit for the money... would be 5 star of there was no limit to how many people are allowed to connect. We are a school and wanted to use it to access general files for the students and staff. We just ended up using it for a backup to another file server.
UPDATE 10/16/2013:
NAS CRASHED, as I said in my earlier review we decided NOT to use this box as our primary file share(due to licensing restrictions), but rather as a backup server using MS DFS Services which basically syncs our primary file Dell Server to this NAS Server. Today it completely crashed with no chance of recovery! No warning, nothing.... WoW!! WD was did some over the phone testing and concluded we needed to do a complete OS restore. Only 6 months old! From their test, they could not find a reason, but concluded the hardware was fine!? So no Hardware Replacement... That we just need to do a COMPLETE Re-Install.
I don't know if this is a product to be trusted... I can say for us, no :-(
