Bought this PC yesterday for use as an all-in-one in our Kitchen. My wife was really excited about it because it has an amazingly clear display and is super versatile. I was a bit frustrated that on first boot it still had Windows 8 (not 8.1). It probably took 3 or 4 hours to get all the Windows updates installed that would even allow the upgrade to 8.1, and then another chunk of time for the 8.1 update. It would have been nice to have 8.1 out of the box.
Once I got things stabilized, I was very happy with the speed and form factor. I love how I can use it to cycle through our family photos as a screen saver and the display is gorgeous. There are some really neat apps that take advantage of the touch screen!
My concerns are: 1) Keyboard is very small, smaller than some ultrabook keyboards. I'm pretty sure I'll be swapping it out for something a little bigger. 2) It's somewhat heavy I had envisioned being able to use it as a tabletop PC but I worry that it will be dropped when my wife or kids carry it and don't want to find out how fragile the glass on the screen is.
I love the Windows 8 experience though and look forward to this unit being a showpiece in our kitchen for the next several years.
