Good camera for the size. The intelligent auto feature is sometimes not very intelligent, but overall about 70% of pictures turn out fine. Sometimes the picture looks great on the camera screen but not very good when printed/viewed on the computer. This may be because of not having enough time to try out different settings-I've left it on the auto intelligent setting much of the time. The best feature besides the size is the great pictures it takes in some types of low light (concert venue, etc.). However, pictures of the moon were terrible using the auto intelligent feature and even twilight scene setting! I've not tried moonlight shots with manual changes to the exposure level, but perhaps that would help. I bring up the moonlight shots only because they turned out great with my old Sony DSC, so it was a surprise that this camera doesn't handle them well. Another great feature is the touch screen and borders you can add to your pictures.
Update in 2011 The card reader accessory in this package stopped working at a most inconvenient time. I either will need to buy another or will have to stick to using the cord attached to the camera to put the pics on my computer which was not with me when the reader stopped working of course. The camera itself is still working fine and is a convenient size to have along for candid shots.
