Arrived just in time for sons last flag football game and is taking great shots! First DSLR camera had an SLR years ago and loved it so it was good to get back into it with this one. Couldnt be happier with the quality of the unit and it was pretty easy to get going with some basic picture taking. It does take some time to get accustomed to some of the features and whatnot the camera offers we have just skimmed the surface. Be ready to read and play with it some to start then play and read more to really get going well worth the pics you get though...
Quality of the unit is top notch did some comparisons was going to go with a Nikon D7000 but decided to save some cash this camera gives you pretty high quality in the product itself and the pics it takes for the price. My borther-in-law has the D7000 and it is a nice camera but I couldn't justify twice the money for our purposes....
So far planning on some add-ons such as a flash for bounce flash photography and macro lenses for close ups and other things we want to get into.....price of those add-ons was better than what Nikons prices were overall not a whole lot but for a family of five we watch our pennies....
