I've learned and read a lot about this Yongnuo RF-602 system so I'll just post it all here instead of commenting on comments to clarify for everyone. Taking everything into consideration and context I think these are definitely a 5-star value!

First note these transmitters are not "TTL" they do not send metering information to adjust the output power of your flash, they only send the "sync/fire" signal so you need to have the flashes set to manual power output and adjust manually.

Positives/Why this is Great:

Consider that the "industry standard" in this arena, the Pocket Wizard PLUS II Transceiver 2-pack, does the exact same thing but costs 10x as much! For E/i-TTL flash synchronization, you need to:

1) buy all name-brand latest digital Canon/Nikon flashes ($400+ each), whereas a manual Yongnuo Flash Speedlite Yn-460ii for Nikon Canon Pentax is only $40 (10x cheaper)

2) spend even more on the RadioPopper PX Transmitter (US/CA) and receiver setup or the PocketWizard Flex Transceiver TT5 with Mini TT1 Transmitter Bundle. However -note that both of these TTL remote systems DO NOT operate in the general use 2.4ghz frequency range so you need to buy a different set if you want to use them outside of the US (e.g. Europe, Asia) or else you may interfere with emergency radio signals! (google pocketwizard frequency) This RF-602 system is free to use worldwide and has the "EC" symbol for Europe. =)

They advertise a 1/250 second flash sync speed but your camera needs to support this, some older cameras may only support 1/200 (e.g. Canon 5D). It DOES work at 1/250 sync though, just see the "Yongnuo RF-602 Flash Trigger PocketWizard Killer" review on youtube.

I find the quality build and packaging of these Yongnuo RF-602 transmitters and receives to be very good, much better than my current Cheaplights NPT-04 Wireless Hot Shoe Flash Trigger and 2 Receivers Set for Canon Nikon Pentax. Considering they are cheap, you'll always need a backup plan if something breaks (even PWs). Consider mono 3.5mm sync cords to hotshoes, optical hotshoe triggers or the easiest alternative buy another $40 set! At least it's not $200+ for a PW! Ebay and Amazon have local sellers and you can expect it in a week.

Comparison to RF-603:

The newer Yongnuo RF-603 series are "transceivers" (transmitter + receiver in one) so that makes it much easier to make use of spares and not have a backup transmitter sit idle. Also you can just use AAA batteries (SANYO eneloop 4 Pack) for everything. =) However the downside with the RF-603 is they do not have a 1/4" screw mount hole for a light stand like the RF-602 does. Unfortunately, the RF-603 is not backwards compatible with the RF-602.

Negatives/Notes for Consideration:

The biggest setback for me is that both the RF-602 and RF-603 units have no "shoe lock/tightener" to secure themselves to whatever they are mounted on (camera, hotshoe, umbrella stand, etc) and the end "lip" on the foot prevents them from secure "side compression" mounts. Mine fell off my umbrella holder (Strobist Flash Bracket Umbrella Holder or cowboystudio equivalent) in minutes (thank goodness my flashes cost
