I received this product several months ago. I was so impressed by size, smallest that I was imagine! I used this device 4-5 hours per day. Purchased this recorder for my work.

Now I am happy to report that this device works great. No problem at all.

Actually I can't believe how well something SO SMALL can record. It's absolutely unbelievable.

Just best words. Amazing quality recording. Super small. Weightless. Very long recording. Simple to operate. Very usefull. A lot of settings in software: Voice activation, timers, password protection. All what I need.

I am very impressed with this tiny recorder. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

I received my Gateway all-in-one desktop a couple of days ago (through another seller). It was manufacturer refurbished and came with no quick guide. While the PC was everything I expected and much more, the lack of installation guide almost ruined the whole system. I was impressed with less cables tangling under my desk, though I still have my old Windows Vista Jurassic at the other end of the room that served me well for 5 years. This PC identified and connected to my WiFi instantly. The display is dazzling with the brightness. Then I got to the wireless mouse and keyboard, and my nightmare began in earnest. I installed the batteries in both of them. They both would not work. After 3 hours of fruitless efforts and a couple of emails to the seller (waiting for the response), I finally located a wifi adapter hidden inside the mouse cover, to my dismay. That was after I have screwed up all the configurations inside the PC in all the efforts to troubleshoot. Then back to undo all the crap that I had caused myself by a reset. A simple quick guide could have saved me the migraine. Now the mouse, the keyboard and the entire system work just as expected and more. The installed windows 8 and the touch screen are very exciting and amazing.

Update: 4/27/13

This machine is going strong by the day. I had a minor scare 2 days. This is the story. I was uploading my updated website to the remote server and the system was going to 10 hours to complete the upload. The machine was literally at a crawl. I just could not upload to the server even after 3 attempts. Come to finally discover that to upload unto the server you may need to either stop other programs that are running or video streaming. Or you may need to just upload the only section of the website that is edited instead of the whole website contents, like I always do. Once I figured this out, my system is back to its old self. Now I can upload as fast as it comes. I love this machine....

Update: 10/3/13

I will downgrade to 4 stars. It is a good buy though. Sometimes this machine is annoyingly slow in response time. I still don't know how to speed up this machine during the slow period. It is not my WiFi connection. I have done all the maintenance required but with little change. At any rate, I like this machine.

Update: 10/7/13:

After some research on how to solve the slow response problem; I was able to zero in on some steps (on advice from a forum) to solve the problem. I went into to start up mode and disable several start ups applications that may not be critical to my needs. I disabled almost half of the start ups. Now this machine is working fine.... at least for now. The response time is faster and my productivity is per excellent. I will still leave the rating to 4 stars while I keep my fingers crossed.

Update: 10/26/13

As much as i like this AIO, I wish it could give 100% satisfaction. Sometimes it runs so sluggishly to a point of annoyance. I have to disk clean, defrag almost everyday to get it to respond normally. I keep all the updates current. I am worried this problem will continue. I like this PC but I am very worried. Looking to get a backup desktop. It may have to be another Brand name.

Update: 11/6/13

This AIO keeps disconnecting from the wifi (Internet). It reconnects after troubleshoots or disabling and re-enabling the connection. I also have a laptop with Windows 7 and 2 Desktops with Windows Vista. Also my android phone and tablets. All maintains stable wifi connections. So I guess the problem must be with the Windows 8.1 OS. All updates and patches did not resolve the problem. Anyway, I was able too zero in on the Network Adapter (Qualcom) inside this system. Two days ago, after much thought, I decided to connect (plug into the usb) one of my wireless network adapters that was lying idle on my desk. Guess what, the connection to wifi has been stable for the past 48 hours. There has been no freezing of the browsers and the internet connection has been good. I will keep my fingers crossed. i will keep the rating at 4 stars. One does not need to go through hassles.

Update: 11/11/13

Solution to the wifi continue disconnects. I think the Qualcom Adapter in this Gateway AIO may not have stable connection with my Zoom Access Point. No patches or updates will fix the problem. I disabled the pre-installed Qualcom adapter and connects an off market wifi adapter. I have not had a wifi disconnection for more than a week. Good news to me. I guess my frustration and annoyance may be over.

After several months of using this TV, here are my impressions. Note that I'm using Antenna HD, PS3 Bluray, and DVD.

Design:

The thin bezel design and glass(stem) stand is gorgeous, it feels like the picture is floating on the stand. The thin bezel really enhances the picture by minimizing reflections. It's really refreshing to not have a thick glossy bezel shining at you when watching TV; although the bezel itself seems to get mighty hot after several hours of use. The screen is glass and it does have reflections in daylight. It will probably annoy those of you that have a lot of glare coming from windows.

Picture Quality:

HD picture quality is outstanding while SD ranges from good to OK. The SD quality really depends on your broadcasting source; higher quality SD means good SD picture. Blacks are good, but I believe the processing engine goes a bit overboard and saturates the blacks to a point where details are lost. I haven't found out how to tone down the blacks, even after shutting off all the processing. Colors seem to really pop out, if it's too much one can adjust RGB in the menus. Initially, this TV did not exhibit any noticeable clouding for several months but now I can clearly see clouding on a completely dark transition screen. I'm a bit disappointed it has developed clouding over time, but it's not bad enough that you'll notice it during tv viewing. This is an edge-lit LCD and there are inherit weaknesses. Motion picture quality is very smooth and artifacts are kept to a minimum; in fact, this is the smoothest picture I've ever seen on any HDTV.

Adjustment Controls:

This TV has quite a few options for tuning the picture. There's standard, dynamic, natural, and movie modes. Each mode has it's own saved settings. For my normal viewing, I started with the movie settings while in Standard mode and made a few adjustments to brighten up the screen. Movie mode has a "warm2" color tone that I changed to "standard" since I don't like warm colors for normal viewing. For movies, I use the movie mode where the colors and brightness are toned down, with relatively few adjustments made. The natural and dynamic modes are horrendous, don't even go there. There's some fine adjustments in each mode with backlight, contrast, sharpness, hue, brightness, color, etc.

Connections:

Has HDMI 1.4 connections, which allow 1 Audio Return and single Ethernet connections (with specific high speed compatible HDMI cables and other HDMI 1.4 devices). Has 1 composite connection and 1 component (both use supplied extension plugs). Switching between sources is a tad slow to me, wish it was bit faster. Note that the optical out connection will transfer Dolby Digital sound from the antenna input, but it will only transfer stereo sound if you are connecting a device from HDMI and outputting the sound using optical out.

Sound:

Sound comes from the back panel and these kinds of tvs always sound odd. It's definitely loud enough, but not as good as a tv with good front speakers. You can use simulated surround sound and it's not bad at all. The one annoying thing is your sound settings are kept the same as you change your input sources; even after you've configured one input source as having movie sound settings. You can use the equalizer to adjust the sound to your liking. I might buy a sound bar to accompany this tv.

Internet apps:

I took a little while to play around with the apps, they're ok but respond pretty slow. Just your standard apps, nothing impressive. It does have an app store where you can purchase more apps but I didn't try that. I found youtube to be a bit odd. I started up youtube and it showed me the annoying orange video on startup; really strange it just loaded up with that video.

Other apps:

The photo viewer is pretty decent, seems a bit slow in rendering the pictures from a USB stick. I've also played some AVI and MKV files on the TV and it looks good to me. MKV files do not seem to have subtitle options.

3D:

I bought the Samsung SSG-3100GB bluetooth glasses for 2011 3D TVs. The glasses are great and much better than the old versions I tried out on a 2010 TV. It syncs up really well and I don't notice ghosting. There is a 3D button on the remote where you can convert 2D programming to 3D; this is done on the fly using the TV's processor. The 2D-3D is applied minimally so it isn't great; you will barely notice the 3D effects on the conversion. However, watching true 3D movies is great but 46" is really small for 3D. What others say about having a 50" plus TV is true if you want to experience the depth of 3D. What truly blows me away is playing 3D games through the Playstation 3. I started Wipeout HD up and I was giggling like a silly schoolgirl for a while. It really blew my mind how the 3D enhances the fun of games.

Remote:

Remote is pretty decent. It has a your standard TV buttons as well as a way to control playback on other sources with fast forward, rewind, stop, play. Remote has a backlight you can activate.

Settings:

Here are some basic calibration settings I used.

0) Standard Mode

1) Backlight: 13

2) Contrast: 93

3) Brightness: 45

4) Sharpening: 10 (keep this low!)

5) Color: 45

6) Tint R/G: 50, 50

7) Color Tone: Auto

8) Dynamic Contrast: Low

Additionally, I nearly turned off all the processing (including motion plus)

Verdict:

Very good TV with an inherit weakness in edge-lit LED technology in that you will find some uneven lighting and clouding. This might be as good as edge-lit LED is going to get. I gave it a 4 star here but it's really more 4.5 out of 5. I won't give it a 5 because true local-dimmed LED TVs have better contrast and color consistency, but you'll be paying a lot more (unless you buy the ugly Vizio LED TVs).

Update 1/13/2012:

I upgraded to the newest firmware and noticed after rebooting it reset all my settings. I don't see anything different except I noticed how crappy the picture was. It's important you do not leave the it on the default settings as the picture quality is pretty horrendous. Use my settings as a baseline, especially keep sharpening low, turn off motion plus, and you will see the potential of this tv.

More notes:

I recently noticed that my tv was tilted down to the left a little as it sits on the supplied stand. I took out a tape measure and noticed the left end was nearly 1/4" lower than the right side. This really bugged me so i took apart the stand and slipped a piece of paper folded several times in the gap where you screw in the stand. This helped balance it perfectly.

Got this printer couple of weeks ago and it has been performing up to my expectation. I still cannot believe the price of this AIO printer. Even at the MSRP of $99 from Canon, it is still very well below a comparable unit from other brands. I like a good bargain, so originally I had 2nd thought on getting this because it was only $10 cheaper at Amazon than list price. However, after comparing other AIO printers with similar features like wireless, fax, auto-document feeder, this became a no-brainer.

Pros:

AIO with fax.

Mac friendly software

Price point

Sleek symmetric design vs. other brands (i.e. all trays are closable to create a neat look)

Self opening output tray if tray is closed. I had other printers where if I forgot to open the output tray, the paper would just cumple up.

Easy Wi-Fi setup

reasonable replacement OEM ink cartridge prices.

iPhone/iPod touch app for printing photos from your iPhone or iPod touch.

USB cable included, useful and a must for initial setup

Cons:

so far I have not been able to fax from my MacBook wirelessly, though faxing from PC wirelessly works.

slow start-up like most other users have experienced

I have owned AIO printers from HP, Lexmark, and Epson before. This model by far has been the best price performance for me.

I have been using the KR now for almost a week so these are my initial impressions. The best way to describe this camera is a KR with several new improvements, though more evolutionary than revolutionary.

My favorite new features are the improved LCD (higher resolution), visible AF point, faster live view focusing, faster shooting at 6 FPS and faster focusing in all environments, especially in low light though with the new AF assist lamp. I cannot emphasize the AF capability in low light. The KR focuses fast, even in almost total darkness.

Another new feature is the capability to use AA batteries as well as Lithium ion. It comes with a Lithium ion battery and charger to start.

The image stabilization is still in body as Pentax has been doing for years. This allows the use of many Pentax lens and still have stabilization.

The high ISO capability with the KR is great as it is with the KX. I had a T2i and find the high ISO capability better with the KR. Plus the white balance requires less adjustment with the Pentax. It seems like I was always modifying the white balance settings with the T2i. This came as a shock to me knowing some of the white balance issues I have seen with Pentax cameras in the past.

One of the coolest new features that I really like is the capability to convert the last JPG picture taken to RAW. So let's say you take a picture and you cannot take it again (one time opportunity!) and the JPG was not up to par...You can save it as RAW and then convert in camera or in software later. This is only possible for the last JPG taken however.

The video will work in a pinch but is not the strength of this camera. It is 720P and 25 FPS with no auto focus. The T2i is better in this arena but I honestly never used it much. Despite DSLR improvements in this area (especially with the T2i), I still prefer using a camcorder.

However, the KR is a photographic tool and has lots of options once you start wanting to experiment a little more. Get it with the 55-300 lens (great lens!) if you can swing it. It is a great deal with the 2 lens kit and truly a savings versus buying it later.

Pentax is often overlooked in the DSLR arena. The KX has been a great seller for Pentax. If you have one, I would not necessarily upgrade to the KR, though some of the new features are nice. If you are looking for your first DSLR or possibly switching from another brand, I highly recommend the KR.

The sensor is fantastic for milky way photos. The colors rendered are very natural. It's not over the top, and if you like saturated photos, then you'll have to work that on your own, but the SOOC is so natural. Portraits are easy to get skintones in.

The metal and faux-leather body is amazing, and the lens is supurb.

The AF isn't that great, but I do landscape photography, so it doesn't matter at all.

Fisheye lenses are very fun they give a totally different perspective compared to just about any lens out there. The most common type seem to be the "circle" type, which product a big circle in the center of your image (with the fisheye image inside of that). On digital cameras with a crop-factor (like the Canon Rebel series, XXD series and even 7D), this can sometimes result in what looks like a circle with the top and bottom cut off.. not the most enjoyable image.

That's where this one comes in the Rokinon produced a rectangular fisheye image there is no "circle" as with other types of fisheye lenses, but you still get that great fisheye look (distortions and all).

You might see other similar looking (and priced) Fisheye lenses available out there.. Bower, Pro-Optic, Samyang, Rokinon, Vivitar, Falcon. These are ALL THE SAME LENS Samyang, the manufacturer, simply re-brands it and changes the colors a bit (For example, look at: Vivitar Fisheye lens 7 mm f/3.5 Canon EF Pro-Optic 8mm f/3.5 Manual Focus, Fish Eye Lens with Canon EOS Mount ). With that said, be sure to check out the others to find the most affordable. The Rokinon is often 50-75 dollars less than the Vivitar.

The lens is a Canon EF mount (I only mention this because it's not listed in the description, only that it's "For Canon" I wasn't sure if it was EF or FD mount before ordering). It WILL fit onto any EF Mount (meaning it will work on a 5D) but because it's SO WIDE, the hood will show up in images on a fullframe camera (it will not show up on images on a 1.6x crop camera like the Rebels, 7D or XXD line). The hood is not removable, but some people actually cut it off to use with full-frame cameras like the 5D.

The lens is rounded like a traditional fisheye, so you cannot use lens filter in front of this.

The angle is VERY WIDE probably 180 degrees.. I have the lenscap on a leash (capkeeper) and it shows up in images if I don't move it. Things right to the side of the lens will appear in the photo.. it's hard to hide from it!

The low price comes because the lens does NOT make electrical contact with the camera. It's a MANUAL LENS there is no autofocus, and the camera will not recognize it as a lens. You change the aperture by turning the manual aperture ring on the lens itself. You focus using the larger ring. Since the lens is so wide, if you set it to infinity (on the focus scale), then bring it back to just before that mark, most of your image will be in focus. It's actually tougher to get stuff out of focus than in focus (great for those like me who can't manual focus at all)

If you set your camera to AV mode (haven't tried the others) it will automatically determine exposure for you (I was worried about this, figuring a manual lens had to be set manually (including exposure)) You can, of course, still set it manually. And while it does meter, it's not always perfect so be sure to review your images once in a while to make sure everything is turning out. One of the problems is that with such a wide angle of view, there can often be very different lighting conditions. Taking a photo indoors, for example, will often result in a darkened room and very bright light sources wherever windows are. You almost need to "HDR" these to get usable images. Outdoors or in even lighting conditions, it works great.

The price is much less than other wide angle lenses (because those have name-brands behind them and features like autofocus and probably better optics). The only cheaper alternative are the poor screw-on fisheye filters that attach on top of an existing lens, but these will often produce near unusable photos. The photos from the Rokinon are surprisingly sharp.

The downside to it is that quality control on the distance-scale can be poor a number of people are reporting getting this lens (or the other rebranded variations) with a distance scale that is "off" meaning that the 2 foot mark might actually be "Infinity", but I think it is something you can learn to deal with after a few uses. It doesn't make the lens unusable by any means.

The other negative is that this lens is about 300 bucks for a manual-only lens made by Rokinon (or Samyang, etc..) that's almost the same as you'd pay for a Canon 50mm 1.4 lens (or similar). With that said though, I still really enjoy it and would re-buy it again if I had to make the choice again.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1-Inch, Wi-Fi)

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2
Customer Ratings: 4.5 stars

Updated Review: October 25, 2013 For over one year now, I have been totally enjoying this excellent Tab 2 10.1 WiFi tablet and I continue use this very dependable tablet for hours each day. Since I am a techie, I tested this tablet thoroughly and I have found it to be excellent for my everyday basic computer functions at home and on the road. And it is much easier to travel with than my heavy laptop. For you the reader, my goal here is to give you everyday and practical uses regarding the Tab 2 10.1 WiFi model.

In August, 2013, I updated to 4.2.2 as it has many improvements and my tablet is running perfectly and it is up to date. The update did remove the screenshot, however, I use the Power Key and Volume key and this takes a screenshot when needed.

PROS:

EXTERNAL SLOT FOR MICRO SD CARD What a great feature! It is set to accept up to 32g SD, however, you can add a 64gb SD card, however, you will have to format it inside the Tab 2 and it will then be ready to add files. For me, I placed a 32g in mine for music, files etc. Note that this was one of the deciding factors that sold me on this tablet. *Keep in mind where External SD cards are concerned: They are JUST for your personal files: music, videos, photos, and other files. When you install apps from the Playstore or other sources, they store either in INTERNAL SD Card area or the main internal area.

WiFi Connecting/Speed of WiFi This I tested using my home router and on the go at many hotspots with WiFi. What I discovered: The Tab 2 connected very quickly to my home router and has a high rate of speed no matter where I am located in my home (of course the closer to the router, the faster). Other hotspots: No problems at all connecting and staying connected on these. And I found the speed still high at home with several devices connected to the router, no loss in speed. **Note that I had other tablets before this one and for me, none gave me the quick connect and overall speed over WiFi as the Tab 2. **Newest observation--Today, I tested ALL my WiFi devices (phones and Tablets) and discovered this: Using my home router I noticed that the Tab 2's that I own (7 inch and 10.1 ones), connected faster and have far greater distance to my router than even my Android phone did as it seems to have the HIGHEST signal strength and longest WiFi distance). Then I took the Tab 2 outside and even in my back yard (furthest from router), still got a signal, moved in to back porch and got a very good signal. The same holds true when I travel, I am able to connect to many free WiFi hotspots, easily with great signal strength.

Internet & Webpage & Video Viewing The stock browser does a great job, however, I use Maxthon Browser and installed archived flash so I have great internet flash video viewing results and it renders webpages quite fast for me. And I suggest the free app called Pocket from the Playstore so you can read internet articles later offline. Even TODAY after almost ten months of ownership, I still enjoy using this tablet for viewing internet pages, videos and more.

Reading/Creating/Editing Word, Excel, Text Files and much more on this tablet: This comes with a OK app for reading Office documents, however, I prefer Kingsoft Office which is a free app from Playstore. It is the best I have ever tried and I am very picky about so called Office programs. It is very compatible with MS Office as it reads, edits and creates Office files and reads PDF files, and it has more features of any other Android Office program that I tried. This app is a MUST have for tablet owners in my opinion.

Printing Using the Tab 2 Yes, even with my older home printer, I print documents, photos, etc that are on my Tab 2 using the app Cloud Print and PrinterShare Mobile (both free from Playstore. In addition, there are many apps in the Playstore that will allow you to print using the Tab 2. (If you have questions about printing using the Tab 2 or any question, please ask in the comment section and I will answer).

Watching Online Flash Videos Directly From Maxthon Browser (regular one not the tablet one is best) If archived flash is installed and Maxthon Browser or other good browsers, I can play videos online. All videos I have tried have played just fine. ***Please ask me in the comments if you need more details regarding watching online videos of any kind on the Tab 2 and also instructions on archived flash,etc...

Home Videos The stock video player is OK and plays MOST home videos, however, may I suggest QQ Player (Free App from Playstore and the ONLY one I recommend as it plays every home video I tried).

Music Player/Sound Quality Stock player has clear sound through the outside "speakers" and very clear using headphones. To sync easily with Windows Media Player may I suggest the Playstore app free) WinAmp for the tablet as it is very highly rated and the sound is SUPERB!

**** SUGGESTION: If love watching videos and listening to music, may I suggest that you invest in a Bluetooth Speaker. There are many out there on Amazon most are OK and many low it cost. However, for me I use the EasyAcc Second Gen Bluetooth that Amazon sells and the sound is SUPERB! Also, it plays stand alone SD card music and Flash Drive music as it has the ports for that (the Flash drive and LARGE STANDARD SD cards play directly from the ports the music as stored on the Flash drive of SD CARD).

Battery Life Excellent! This is what I have found: When I am on WiFi, I go to the websites I need and then as soon as I am done (reasonable time), I exit the browser (or YouTube, etc) and TURN OFF WiFi. However, I run my brightness at 100%. So on an average day, I get at least 8-12 hours using the tablet before I charge it (depending on how long my WiFi is connected).

OTG USB Compatible You can add an optional OTG (On the Go adapter cable to the Micro port for copying files to your flash drive and from your flash drive to the Tab 2). You can also plug in a mouse, I tried it and it worked. *Note that portable external hard drives and portable DVD/CD drives will not work using OTG in the Tab 2 because these both require a lot of power to be compatible with the Tab 2 and most tablets that have the OTG. However, it is still good to know that you can easily plug in your flash drive and copy files to the Tab 2 and from Tab 2 to PC--what a time-saver.

On-Screen Keyboard For me, I prefer to use the large keys on the on-screen keyboard so this one is PERFECT for me to type on. However, there are many great Bluetooth keyboards out there for the Tab2.

The tablet is very well constructed, however, to secure it better, I bought from Amazon a MoKo adjustable stand/case that I set it up in landscape mode and it has 3 positions.

Bluetooth Speed and Performance The Bluetooth paired quickly with several devices and copied files at a great rate of speed. Speaking of Bluetooth: Also there are many great Bluetooth keyboards out for the Tab2. (Just make sure you purchase one for JUST THE TAB2 10.1).

SPECIAL FREE OUTSTANDING APPS I SUGGEST FROM THE PLAYSTORE:

* Pocket App (This is a must app you can "save to" Pocket and read text later when offline so you can read text articles (you must be online to watch videos or view pictures however).

* Cloud Print and PrinterShare Mobile (both free lets you print right from your tablet).

* TV SHOW APP (free) is US TV & Radio Free and also get TV Guide app to go with this. This is an app that lets you watch many TV shows (but they are live so you will need TV Guide app to see what is on). These apps I have tried and the tablet plays the shows wonderfully in full screen. This app also has great radio stations on it. (Note that this app is HUGE almost 33MB but you can watch most cable TV shows on it LIVE).

* Netflix (free in Playstore), You really need this app if you plan on watching Netflix using this tablet. * Hulu Plus, I recommend for movies and more.

* TV.COM gets SOME TV shows and some networks, but you can watch pre-recorded shows.

Also great FREE apps: WiFi Analyzer (lets you know how strong your WiFi is), QQ Player, QuickPic (better than the Gallery), Maxthon Browser, AVG Antivirus Free, and I list more in comment section.

Wonderful Kindle Android App is pre-installed, and I downloaded several Kindle books with no problems. Kindle loads fast and this Tablet is a joy to read a book on either Kindle or any eBook or PDF booklet.

CONS: (Just one con I found, however, this con is NOT the fault of Samsung)

New Adobe Flash is not supported, however, I found that archived flash gets the online videos to play. So I downloaded the older archived flash which gives me the ability to view many internet videos.

*****Update August 30, 2013 ***** There is an AUTO UPDATE for the new OS that will be starting up the next time you turn on WiFi or very soon. It is best that you are aware that you MUST has at least 60% battery, or better yet 100% battery as this update takes up LOTS of space and take a long time to complete. (You can also turn off the auto update to prevent this from happening). Note that the update removes your soft key for the Screenshot and moves the soft keys into the center and lots of other changes. So you may want to take a look at the comment section as there is quite a bit posted these on this)...

Bottom line: Would I buy this WiFi only model over again? Yes I certainly would, in a heartbeat! So if you are looking for a superb Samsung 10.1 inch tablet and you have great access to WiFi, this is the one to buy. This TV was released in February as Samsung's "budget" 32-inch As of this writing it's going for around $475, so about $200 more than the budget Smart TV's from Vizio. First my review of the TV, then I'll compare it to Vizio's product VIZIO E320i-A0 32-inch 720p 60Hz LED Smart HDTV, which I have also purchased and decided to return in favor of this unit. As you would expect, the TV has a great picture. Smooth, no pixelation, even sports look great on here. It's advertised as a 60hz -but then the box refers to "120 Tru Motion" so I'm not sure what to make of that, but suffice it to say that refresh rates are good. The remote control is decent lights up at night and has good sized buttons, but I'd like dedicated buttons for Netflix and Amazon VOD. This TV begins to blur the line between TV and computer... the internet browser is competent, but pretty frustrating to use without a keyboard. You can hook up a USB keyboard through the TV's slot. This TV does NOT accommodate bluetooth keyboards, so wireless is out of the picture. I believe the next model up of Samsung (the 6000 series) accommodates Bluetooth as that is referenced in the manual. The "Smart Apps" section reveals many apps (Pandora, Picasa, etc) that you would find on your Smartphone. Due to the dual core of the TV's processor, apps load quickly and the TV starts immediately. As for the sound, it's really decent to good. You're not ever going to get good base etc without an external sound source on any HDTV... but this provides a good viewing experience. Figuring out the DLNA networking (to watch videos and pictures stored on my computer) was unnecessarily complex (very simple on the Vizio). The TV couldn't "see" other devices on the home network until I clicked "Play to" on the computer in the right click context menu and selected the Samsung. The Samsung asked for permission to link to the computer and then I was able to browse. I'm sure this will be fixed in a future software update. By the way, Netflix, Amazon, every app I have tried works great.

I think the software on these "smart TV's" is still overly complex to navigate... At some point a company like Apple is going to figure this out and make a truly seamless intuitive experience. For example, to get to my media on my computer, I have to click "smart apps" then scroll to video, click that, then select a source, then start scrolling through files on the computer. There has to be a better way. Having said that, it's not terrible, and the dual core makes for gorgeous animated menus and really nice response time.

Comparing it to the Vizio... if you are thinking "Should I spend the $200 more for the Samsung?" here's why I ended up returning the Vizio in comparison to this unit. First off the positives: The Vizio had a gorgeous picture also, comparable to the Samsung. So it's a draw between the devices. But in every other aspect, Samsung wins. Setup on the Samsung was a breeze -it scanned all of my Comcast digital channels WITHOUT a converter box, and then automatically subtracted out the scrambled channels. Vizio couldn't/didn't do this. Samsung also has an interactive/nice guide much like the guide you'd see on digital TV/satellite... grid format that tells you what's on all the channels. Vizio didn't have that. The Vizio TV took 5-9 seconds to start. That's a long time when you're trying to catch the end of a show. Samsung starts up instantaneously. The Vizio had TERRIBLE sound -everyone sounded like they had a lisp when watching TV... the Samsung has a million sound options including even an equalizer. Great sound. There are many more apps on Samsung's unit, and there's also the Samsung version of video on demand where you can download and watch movies. Vizio has placed a button for this on their remote control but it is still a "coming attraction."

If all you care about is a nice picture, get the Vizio. But if you care about sound and the internet apps, as well as platform stability, get the Samsung. They are both energy efficient the Samsung is $6/year according to the Energy Wise label on the set and the Vizio is $8.

This TV actually begins to blue the line between TV, computer and tablet. You can attach a keyboard. You can also attach a webcam and have Skype video calls. There's also a social app integration that I don't plan to use where you can link everything to Facebook and other social sites, sharing comments on TV shows etc with your friends. Not my style but some might like that. As I use more of the functions on this TV I will update this review, but for now, hope this helps!

People get sick of hearing me rave about this camera. My oldest son claims the camera is my favorite child.

If you don't have a smart phone this thing is a must have. It's so convenient that I capture so many more family moments.

I purchased two of these cards. One for both my wife and I. Both cards used in Epic 4G phones and various computers. After 2 months both cards occasionally would come up "damaged" in android. Reformat. Rinse repeat every week. Now after 3 months one is completely dead. Cannot use the card on any device. Calling manufacturer for warranty. Both cards do not work at class 10 speeds. I will not be buying lexar equipment again.

Great product, which includes all that is needed to enter into the World of Macro Photography.

The instruction manual comes in multiple languages. However, not as detailed as it could be, and lacks the step by step procedures needed for fist time use.

Great buy for it is PROFESSIONAL.

I received the 18-250 prior to Christmas and used it throughout the Holidays taking about 500 snapshots, both with and without flash. What a workhorse this is! All the way from ultra-wide to fully extended, it was a consistently excellent performer. My K10d focused quickly and sharply starting with photo number one. Although I'm no professional, I do have a stable of pretty nice glass including the DA 21mm Limited pancake, the DA 16-45, & the FA 50mm 1.4 prime. (Also owned the DA 18-55mm and the DA 55-200mm zoom which I've already sold). The clarity and sharpness of the 18-250 rivals the 16-45 (beats the 55-200 hands down) and -to my eyescomes close (but not quite) to the excellent primes, though obviously not as fast. Alas, my 16-45 is now completely redundant and I put it on Ebay today. When you consider the excellent performance of this lens all along the length of its tele range, I believe that it truly could become a do-it-all replacement for most of your medium range zooms while doing a very respecable job at the 18mm wide angle. This lens surpassed all of my expectations and I give Kudos to Pentax for offering this in their digital lineup. Wish it had been there earlier and I could have avoided the expensive migration. I've heard comments that it is a bit pricey I don't think so. It represents great value in a high quality optic that can cover a wide range of photographic opportunities. My prints and slide shows resulting from the 18-250 mounted to my K10d are vivid, sharp, and colorful and have made my photography hobby more joyful and enjoyable than ever. People are impressed with how consistently beautiful & clear my photos are. And isn't that really why we shutterbugs enjoy making memories with photos? If you can get one, try it. . I think you'll love it. It really deepens my appreciation for the reasons I chucked the point-and-shoot digitals for the flexibility and superiority of the DSLR. Cheers.

Its nice overall, but don't expect high quality materials,. The most important flaw is that the matte box is really small, i mean my canon lens doesn't fit through the hole, so this is one mayor flaw that needs to be corrected. Aside from that is really cheap in comparison to the competition, and the follow focus works well. its heavy and the rails are made of solid metal. maybe i expected too much of it, i would still recommend to buy if you don't have the money.

Standard SD and SDHC cards look identical in size and shape, only SDHC-compatible products will be able to accept the new SDHC cards. SanDisk differentiates its new cards with the new SDHC logo on the card and retail package.

Now my web research finds that at the time of its release Wes Brewer, vice president of consumer product marketing at SanDisk, said, "In order to provide the easiest and most compatible solution for 4GB and larger capacity SDHC cards in the market, SanDisk chose to bundle its new MicroMate USB 2.0 SD/SDHC compatible card reader, which normally retails for $19.99, with this new card."

Note this deal does not include a reader.

In my case the device I bought it for can read it. Without the dedicated reader my year old HP computer cannot .

Until this purchase I have had only Sony Point and Shoot camera's, which for the most part I have been happy with, but it was getting time to replace the old Sony and had been considering the DMC-ZS3 for some time. As I was researching that model, the DMC-ZS7 had come out to good reviews and had addressed a few problems with the ZS3. So far the camera seems nice, has worked well and performs equally well to other P&S camera's I have owned. Probably the best attribute I have seen on the camera is the zoom, it really zooms well and the pictures come out clear and focused. The biggest downside (if you want to call it a downside) is that this camera is complex with a lot of functions and very little instruction. Most things I have learned just through trail and error. I have seen other reviews about the mode dial moving easily and unexpectedly and that has happened to me, now I just remember to check it. Overall I like the feel of the camera, the weight, construction etc...I like the 3in LCD screen (although hard to see in bright light like all P&S camera's). The kit was nice with the accessories; as it was not a whole lot more expensive than just the camera.
