Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS25 Digital Camera (Black) 16GB Package
I received this camera as a gift since I take so many pictures of my kids. I haven't used all the features yet, so I will only comment on what I have done. First, the picture quality is great. There is a really easy to use dial at the top and you can choose which setting you prefer. I really like the video quality as well and it comes on with minimal delay. I previously had a Sony Cybershot where after pressing the video record button there was about a 3-5 second delay before it recorded, which you basically miss the action. This however starts recording right away (maybe a second delay) and is very quick. Also, if you take pictures one after another, this camera handles that really well, depending on the setting you have it on and if there is enough light. I originally purchased a Canon Powershot SX260 which is a similar camera (20x zoom), but I didn't like the flash placement so I chose this one instead. The 20x zoom is fantastic on this camera. Occasionally if you rush it, it can be blurry, but I love being able to zoom in on faces from far away. Overall, I would recommend this camera for someone who wants a step up from a point and shoot and to take quality pictures and quick videos. In specific reference to this package, I like the little extras thrown in; screen protector, memory card holder, etc. But, the camera bag in the picture is misleading. The bag I got was much bigger, more for a video camera, so I ended up buying my own case for the camera. This is the only reason for the 4 star review, otherwise the camera is 5 stars.
