I finally got a chance to test the case with my Canon G15. It works great! I've used an older model hard case from Canon on an older camera, and these are the way to go. Forget trying to use a soft case since at diving depth the are compresses and the buttons get randomly squeezed, causing problems. A hard case is the only option if you take it with you diving. There is access to most of the buttons on this case, as well as the mode select knob and the zoom, so you have good controls. The buttons are a bit small and tightly clustered, so if you wear thick diving gloves, you may have problems changing modes. Easy solution is to dive in warm water (no gloves)... good excuse to go to Hawaii if you're used to Monterey ;)

I've been using the case around the pool, on the lazy river (Aulani) and in the rain here in Oahu on this vacation trip and it's perfect. No fear of water damage to the camera. The case is a bit bulky making it more like an SLR instead od a pocket camera, but that's the tradeoff, being able to go to 100+ feet (33+ meters) and also take family pictures when the weather is stormy.

If you pop-up the internal flash, there's no way to put it back down, you'll need to turn off the flash with the controls if you don't want the flash to fire on some pics. Be careful with the yellow o-ring since that's vital for keeping water out at depth. Make sure it's clean, don't let salt dry on it if possible, and take it out occasionally to lubricate it with the included silicone grease.

I added a moisture muncher capsule to it, it fits perfectly alongside the barrel between a screw post and a rib. It's the perfect length so it doesn't get crushed or squeezed. They are available on Amazon in 10 packs in a ziplock type bag. These are a necessity if you dive with the camera, otherwise the lens glass may fog up.

Also be aware it's positively buoyant, it'll float to the surface if you let go. If you want it to be neutral, there are weights available from Canon, but I've never used them.
