To be honest i had tested several cameras before purchasing this one and it was the right choice by far, it takes awesome pictures and all the accessories in this package are exactly what you need even the cleaning kit is so complete that you're all set.
the extra battery is so useful because you don't usually take the charger with you so you can exchange the battery and you're good to go again. is very reasonable priced because if you try buying all the accessories separate is kind a expensive i highly recommend it
