The video that this camera takes is stunning -just fantastic quality. The audio has been a bit glitchy but seems fine now that it's been running for about 8 hours of driving.
GPS: I'm not sure why, but it took almost five hours of driving before the GPS started working. But now that it's working, when you watch video on the included player (Windows), it shows you where you were at each moment, as well s your speed. Although the speed is not terribly accurate -it jumps around quite a bit and I'm not sure how much it can be relied upon.
DISAPPOINTMENTS: The documentation is very weak -it really provides very little explanation of how to use the product. You really have to just try to figure a lot of things out for yourself, such as the fact that you need to do all the setup on a computer, save it to the memory card, then put the card into the camera. If you don't have the GPS feature, I think the time is saved on the card, so the camera's time will be wrong unless you put the card in the camera right after saving from your computer.
I was surprised to hear that you are supposed to re-format the memory card every few weeks, even though it overwrites old video with new as required. I was also surprised that they say the life of the memory card is only about six months.
Installing the software is a bit of a challenge because the prompts are in Korean -so you just have to sort of guess and keep hitting Enter. There is no English documentation in the box, but they emailed me a pdf of an English manual. But as I mentioned, the manual is not very helpful at all. It just leaves so many questions unanswered as to how this product works.
SUMMARY: An outstanding product, that seems to finally be working well, but with documentation that is so sparse it is very frustrating. I could email questions to the manufacturer, but I wouldn't know where to start I have so many.
