This unit from Boss is (almost) exactly what I wanted, it does everything that it is supposed to do, and does it well, the screen is nice and bright, the menus are easy to navigate through, the GPS software that comes with the unit is Polnav 6, its easy use and fast to recalculate routes.
Radio: Easy to set up and store stations.
Blu-Tooth music: No lag easy to set up.
Blu-tooth phone: Easy to set up, download address book from phone to radio, make calls from the head unit.
GPS: Fast & accurate, maps are a bit dated.
SD Card: Plays MP3 no problems.
SD Card: Plays Avi files no problems.
DVD: Plays DVD movies, initially a little slow to load, but once movie started looks nice on the screen.
Head unit remote has good distance and is easy to use.
Ipod connection: Charges my i-phone and plays music from it, I don't have any video on the phone so cant attest for that function.
USB front and rear: No problems with either, dont load both at the same time though, I did and the radio locked up, removed one device and all is fine.
Rear View camera input: No problems.
Remember at the top I said (almost) the only issue I have is, the radio cuts off when the GPS voice comes on, I have a Pioneer Avic F710BT in my other car and there is an option within the menu to lower the radio voice and have the GPS voice is louder, I really miss that function, is Boss released a firmware update to address this this head unit would be awesome.
