The 40-150mm lens is fantastic. I've hardly taken it off my camera since I got it. However, I'm not sure if it was just a bit of bad luck but both the telephoto and wide angle lenses failed immensely. The amount of distortion was quite surprising, and with just about any zoom at all, any pictures taken with those were unusable. I had a fer of my friends who are neck deep into photography try it out to make sure it wasn't a user created problem (perhaps my memory had been wiped and I lost the ability to focus the camera?) but they each had the same problem. Quite disappointing :(
I was going to return it, but as I'm overseas the cost was just too much, and considering the macro add ons (which I haven't tested too much) and the filters, it was still worth the cost for me. And I really didn't want to let the 40-150mm lens go, even for a minute.
