Works great both manual and ettl. Depending on the conditions, ettl has some issues for having the same exposure each time without changing distance, aperture value etc, because it depends on the camera metering system. works great in manual mode combined with the ac3 controller in the studio. I use Ettl primarily on site without assistant or when I want to get results fast.
