Slik 515QF Tripod With Digital Pro Fluid Head For Use with Video
I have only had the item for 2 days now. I couldn't find any reviews before buying this item so I decided to post one. So again keep in mind I'm talking about this item with 2 days experience. But a honest yet product inexperienced review is better than no review. The item is sturdy and has a decent max height. I'm 6' 3'' and with my camera mounted on the tripod at maximum height, the camera gets an eye level shot of me while standing. My camera is a Panasonic HMC40. The pan and tilt is very smooth. The sliding plate is nice and allows for my camera to achieve an even weight while mounted. This is with my sound devices attached to the camera making it very front heavy. I bought the tripod for my freelance videography work and an independent moviemaking. I'm very happy with the item so far. So if you don't know, before purchasing you have to know what you're looking for in a tripod and your camera's weight is very important. I know if you are a professional you know, and if you're not, to be honest you probably should go for a tripod a little cheaper. The quality will be less but there are cheaper tripods that can get more than the job done for an occasional user making videos for friends and family.
