I have owned these for a few months and have done multiple shoots with them. I find the fact that you cannot control the exposure compensation of individual flashes or groups when using multiple light set ups very frustrating. If you just want a one light set up then the TTL functions work great, but I often use multiple light set ups and I of course must have different outputs for each of the lights, thus I do not typically use these for TTL. I have, however, found that they work pretty wonderfully when used in manual mode. I shoot Canon 5dMII with a 580exii and 2 430exii's and it is so nice to be able to change the output of each light separately! No more running from lightstand to lightstand changing power settings or flash head zoom settings!

I seem to be having one problem with them though. Occasionally, something happens and the units get out of sync and will not fire until they are powered off and them back on again. It's easy to fix and has never happened more than once or twice on a shoot, but it's definitely worth mentioning here.

As far as quality of build, the entire housing is made of plastic including the bottom hotshoe mount. It's not the horribly pieced together and thin plastic that you get with some of the other cheap triggers out there. They look and feel like good quality devices and they have held up well to what I consider pretty extreme abuse.

It doesn't seem like it would be difficult for them to integrate these better with the canon ttl system so that different groups or individual flashes can have different EV's. Until then I will continue to use these to decrease my leg work while shooting in manual.
