I purchased the DC1400 a few months ago for our trip to Grand Cayman, with the intention of trying it out before I went diving. Well that didn't happen. I basically took the camera out and just used it, only reading the instruction manual. The camera takes awesome photos. I did over expose some of the photos because of having the strobe on "A". Once I dialed it down to the 1-2 setting it worked great. I also used the video feature and it worked great. I would recommend this product to anyone who scuba dives. The camera (without strobe) worked well for snorkeling.
