I'm just learning and many DSLR are too bulky and heavy for me , I'm only 5 feet tall so I need something compact that takes good low light images. This is the best deal you will get.

Pentax makes some of the lens!

With this camera I got some really amazing vintage lens in near flawless condition for so cheap it's unheard of!

If you can get used to using the camera in Manual and use manual focus.... get some older manual lens and you will have images that are fantastic!

I previously owned the orginial version, the 270EX, and I can say that the new version is outstanding and well worth the price. I use this on my 60D and can't begin to tell you how much more creative possibilities you can achieve utilizing the wireless capability of this flash. I would highly recommend this version over the original if you have a built-in transmitter like in the 7D, 60D, or T3i. If you like to be a minimalist and travel light, then this flash is for you. Its about the size of two decks of playing cards put together and requires only 2 AA batteries. Eneloops are the best for this.

One of the best things I like about Canon is actually this flash (previously the original). Its light, small and still does bounce flash (where you point the flash at a ceiling to redirect the light). It has manual zoom (only two settings though) so you dont hear the motor of the more poiwerful speedlites. But when they added remote shutter capability and wireless trigger I was sold before it even came out. What it lacked in swivel (turning left to right, critical for shooting in the vertical orientation), it makes up in being able to fire off camera. That alone opens up so much more creativity (place it behind the subject for a silhouette effect for example). This is the best deal under 200 bucks to venture into flash photography.

After playing around with it though, there are limitations I want to point out. The remote shutter is not wireless but rather IR line of sight kind of thing, and you need to be pointing the flash towards the front of the camera for it to work. Also, its always a 2 second counter, no instant shutter release whether or not your drive mode says so. On few occassions I get no wireless connection to the flash, but once I adjust my position a few feet or so I get it back instantly. For what it is, this still works out to be a whole lot of possibilities. With the 60D, I am able to fire both my built-in flash and the 270EX II off camera at the same time, and, change the intensity ratio between the two outputs (1:1, 2:1, 1:8, etc). Those with the T3i can do this too.

So there you have it. If you have built-in wireless in your Canon body and like to travel light, this flash comes with my highest recommendation. Otherwise, the original is just as good without the wireless. If you like making videos the new 320ex version might interest you with its modeling light, and while its a little bigger and heavier (4 AA batteries), its still a good chioce in my opinion. Hope this helps!

UPDATE 9.22.11 ***********

I discovered that I can fire this flash on-camera with high-speed sync up to 1/8000 sec on my 60D, which opens up some possibilites with freeze-action shots or isolating the subject with a dark background (see my "bee" pictures). There is a setting on the Flash Menu to enable this. You can also do 1st or 2nd curtain settings, and, evaluative TTL2 or average exposure. For the most part the flash does a very good job throttling up or down depending on the focus distance. I didn't know this before, but, since this is an automatic flash, the way to under or overexpose (darken/brighten) an image does not depend on the camera's exposure compensation, but rather the flash's exposure compensation (which you adjust in-camera). On a fresh set of batteries, this flash has a very fast recycle time and good burst rate that is able to keep up with my 60D for about 7 to 10 bursts before slowing down.

Off camera as a wireless slave, however, the sync capabilities get watered down a bit. Fastest sync is only 1/250 sec now, and the flash exposure compensation, while working as normal, really depends on where you setup the flash (the flash by itself doesnt know how far it is from the subject). I find I get better results when the camera and this flash are about the same focal distance away from the subject. Burst rate slows down too, before able to do the high-speed rate on-camera, now only capable of low-speed burst rate. Still, I adore this flash and take it everywhere I go, which is so easy because its so small. Sometimes I wish it had more power, but, adjusting the manual zoom to tele and/or upping the ISO helps. It is still about 2 times more powerful than the 60D's built-in flash (27 GN versus 13 GN). Oh for those wondering, you can remotely trigger your camera in front of you and have the flash fire as a wireless slave for the same photo.

UPDATE 9.26.11 *************

Started to play around with the wireless flash with close-up and macro photography over the weekend. I'm really enjoying this flash! I can see how important it is to have adequate light when you do really close up shots (see my other "bee" pictures). Having the ability to position the 270EX II anywhere is so liberating compared to using on-camera flash. You never get that dreaded half-circle shadow at the bottom of your pictures. Using bounce of course does help, but what do you use when you are outside? In any case, any of the bigger brothers, 320ex, 430ex, and 580ex all do wireless flash as well. It's just that this one is so small and compact, and the most simplest of them all (just 3 settings: OFF , Wireless Slave, and ON).

For those of you who have wanted a very long telephoto lens, you can't go wrong with this one. It is heavier than you will want to hold, so I keep mine mounted on a tripod. Daylight shooting is best, always using a high shutter speed (1/1000 second is my default). Wildlife photography is where this lens really shines. Got good but not great pictures of the moon, but I'm sure with a little experimentation, that will work out. Will frame about 2/3 of the moon at highest power, but needs remote shutter release or using the camera's self-timer to prevent blurring, but haven't checked out this option yet.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program First, a disclaimer: I'm an Optical Technician. I dispense glasses for a living, so I know good eyewear when I see it.

Now, the review: This is good eyewear. It's a quality pair of glasses with all the right enhancements to do exactly what they claim they can do. Specifically, this is a pair of glasses with a +.50 add correction on the lenses, so they do magnify just a tiny bit, but are still comfortable for someone with no prescription for corrective lenses. They have a high-quality gold tint that naturally blocks some of the harsh blues from the light spectrum. They seem to be a high-quality material (I'd guess they're a hi-index, but not a premium brand) and have an anti-reflective coating to cut down on glare from the computer screen (or they'd work equally well when driving).

The frame itself is of excellent quality. I wouldn't say it's a high-end frame, but it's certainly good material and a pleasing design. Nothing cheap here. It's a drill-dot frame, and as such could be prone to loosening or breaking if the end user doesn't know how to properly care for them, though. The included instructions don't tell the user HOW to clean them; Only WHAT to clean them with (the included microfiber cloth).

In case you're wondering what I mean, here's my free advice for owners of these glasses (or any rimless drill-dot frames) When cleaning your lenses, hold the lens between your cloth-covered thumb and index finger ONLY, and then gently rub the lens you're holding between those fingers. Do NOT hold onto the frame in another spot with your other hand (not the bridge, Not the temples, etc.) with these sorts of frames, because the drill dots are not made to take continual stress.

So anyway, all told, this is a quality pair of glasses. My only complaint, being that they are not prescription glasses, nor are they polarized (and no, I'm not saying polarized would be desirable. I only mention it for price comparison purposes), is that the price is slightly higher than I'd expect to see from an affordable optometrist or prescription eyewear store. It's not outrageously high, but it is marked up just a bit considering that these are marketed as plano lenses (essentially, competing in the sunglasses market).

You can wear these while driving and you'll see an improvement in clarity. They do help a great deal when sitting in front of a computer all day. The slight magnification will even make it easier on your eyes to focus on small fonts all day, so they function more as a pair of high-quality tinted reading glasses, in that respect.

Tinted, off-the-shelf reading glasses range in price, depending on quality. I'd put these in the "best quality" mark, and then you'd add a double-digit fee for their basic AR coating. So the highest I'd expect to pay for these would still be about thirty dollars less than the list price, at best.

I will add, however, that these do come packaged in an excellent box, with a nice case/cloth. They're very stylish and seem quite high-end. I'd be surprised to find anything this nice in a retail store. My opinion is that you're paying extra for the style, the packaging, and the excellent marketing terms (those fancy names for their lens technologies? They're just cool-named brands of AR coating, tinting, add power, and lens material that you can find elsewhere).

So are they worth it? Well, if you want a nice pair of +.50 reading glasses, they're very worth it. If you want a good pair of glasses for driving (and your RX calls for +.50), these are just about perfect due to the materials and tinting involved. If you want something to make computer use less stressful for your eyes, they're also up to the task and will do it with more style than you probably deserve.

They're worth it, but you ARE paying a little extra for style. You'd probably be hard-pressed to find as nice a pair of glasses with such good marketing at your local optical store for under one hundred. And after all, when it comes to glasses we are paying for style as well as function, aren't we?

Samsung Galaxy Note 3, White (Verizon Wireless)

Samsung Galaxy Note 3, White

All right here is an honest review about the note 3. It's something that I will approach from the perspective of someone in the Medical field, who needs to get things done quickly, and efficiently.

First of all, I received my phone on October 10th, and I had pre-ordered it but DID NOT pay 299. Well initially I did, but there is a promo code of VERIZON30 that drops the note 3 down to 209.99. I bought the Note 3 for myself and the LG G2 for my wife. Needless to say, at the price of 139.99 for the G2 and 209.99 for the Note 3, we returned the G2 for the note 3 despite the G2's incredible low light camera performance. Here is why.

Backstory: prior to buying the note 3 I have had the Droid Razr Maxx, which for its time was a great device. Now that apps are becoming more memory intensive, something needed to change. I needed a phone that wouldn't lag on me, and I really don't care about gimmicks such as scrolling while looking up or down, or pausing a video if I look away. Who really cares about that stuff? If I want to pause, I tap on the screen, which is less time consuming that looking away and ensuring my phone has paused playing a video. In addition, I really don't want that front facing camera on unless I am using it. Also, I was always reluctant to buy a Samsung phone because of the plastic build, but you know I always keep my phone in a safe case. I will talk about this a little later.

Now, right before I let go of my razr maxx, I briefly upgraded to the note 2 for 2 days. I chose the note 2 because I was in best buy and was comparing the HTC ONE which best buy had on sale for $50 and all of a sudden I decided to listen to the note 2's speaker. I was blown away in comparison to the razr maxx, but blown away which how much more I got in comparison to the HTC one. We are all going to large screens now, and frankly who the heck wants to hold the phone closer to their face? I certainly don't so I upgraded to the note 2. I really did not fall in love with it until the day I was sitting in my senior human cadaver anatomy course, and realized I had forgotten my Anatomy atlas and my notebook. I frantically searched the note 2 and found an app called S Note. I opened S note and began using it. I was blow away, there are blood vessels that are large and really thing, and I used to be able to only differentiate that on paper. Not this time, with the note 2 I was able to use the thin and thick lines as differentiators thanks to the S-pen. I then made my decision that I would return the note 2 and wait for the note 3 because of the larger screen, and faster processor. In addition, I had a memory intensive Anatomy app running on the note 2 that smoothly ran it, when my HP touchpad running android decided to begin hiccupping.

Now with all that said, this is why I feel the note 3 is the best choice on the market. First of all, if your going to purchase a phone that you are spending your hard earned money on it, it should be in the most secure and safest cases. It's an investment, that when 2 years later you sell back, you can almost pay for your new device. Second of all, we will ALL drop our phones at SOME POINT, and its important to protect them. I purchased the Spigen Bounce case despite it being slightly ugly; I got the gray one because Incipio NGP tpu cases are NOT yet available for this phone. That case kept my razr maxx in like new condition.

Now, I really protect my phone because I have my entire life on it, my class schedule, my hospital schedule, my family schedule, my kids doctors appointments, my appointments, my tests etc. EVERYTHING. So I needed a phone that was behind me 100% and never let me down. It has been the case with the note 3. I have customized it and it still hasn't hiccupped yet.

Now the actual review:

Screen & Productivity: The large display is fantastic. It is large enough to hold a full month calendar on one home screen and 3 days on another. I absolutely love the vivid screen because my anatomy apps, as well as using it to take notes is an absolute breeze. My only recommendation is to add many pages before you begin in lecture or whatever you want to take notes in.

There are many times where I find inspirational quotes on Facebook (FB) and wish I could save them and tag them to share not via FB but text messages etc. Scrap book has allowed me to do just that, I can share inspirational quotes and pictures with anyone and it's a breeze to look them up by placing my OWN PERSONAL tags for each photo. I hold the menu button, type inspiration and BAM; I have all my things that are tagged inspirational.

Sometimes I also need a list of diagnostic medical conditions, and it's easy to quickly create a scrapbook memo or create a flow chart in S-note. Etc. In fact the other day, I was talking to Verizon and needed to write down the conformational code etc. for my second note 3, and you know what I did? I was on the dialer page, pulled out the S-pen and circled the page, then I notated it with all the information, it contains the date, the time, and all the information I need to have in case something went awry.

I absolutely love this feature and it is very important.

Another feature I love is that when I am on YouTube, I can load HD very quickly, the LG g2 did a good job in this too, but the razr maxx despite being an LTE phone did not handle this very well. Another thing I really love on this phone straight out of the gate is that it tells me how many text messages I have (like an unread count). Its something I like, it also has many accounts built right in, such as amazon, Facebook etc. I was able to disable most of the bloat ware by going to manage applications and clicking disable in some of the pre-loaded Verizon apps.

The IR blaster is great, I've already started using it on all my TV's however, it wont turn the volume up on my LG TV but do every else. In addition, I am able to have in memory which room has which TV and so when I switch rooms, I also switch rooms on my phone, which allows me to use it as a remote. Great when you have to hide the remote from your little ones.

Battery Life: Used it for an entire day hardcore, and its still at 31% at the end of the day after about 6 am to 1 am usage.

UPDATE 10.23.13see the attached screen shot of battery usage. I was pretty impressed. I do know for a fact though that Shealth eats battery life like crazy.

Also I LOVE the speaker placement on the bottom of the phone, because it's just smart. When I hold my phone, it cups around the speaker channeling the sound directly to me, and not the entire audience behind my phone. Smart.

People have complained about the flip board app, but keep in mind, this is android and not IOS. We have choices here. Download an app called home 2 shortcut and it allowed me to configure double tapping the home button to start Google now rather than anything else. Its fantastic and a great use of android capabilities.

(I will update more here)

The S-pen I received was faulty with my phone, and so Verizon sent me a brand new one for free. Not taking off stars for that, during the pre-order stage stuff like that happens every once in a while. The Spen was completely usable I just had to add a little extra pressure. But no worries, it's taken care of and all is well.

The power button has a slight lag when you just tap it to turn on the screen; if you give it a robust tap it comes on quicker. It is quickest to turn on the screen using the home button when it's sleeping. It kind of irritates me that it is that way.

NOTE 10.23.13 It maybe quicker to use the HOME button to do the same thing.

I wish Samsung allowed customization of the LED colors for the types of notifications.

Note 10.23.13 Re: reception issuesI know people have complained about reception issues, but truly I haven't had many. Just a couple here and there. I think the reality is that the Note 3 is SLOW at switching networks etc. So rather than wait, I have just downloaded a refresh network app, which does what I need in less than 15 seconds and gives me a fresh connection. I don't see it as much of an inconvenience especially because the many positives of this device outweigh this one negative. I haven't had no reception anywhere.

Tethering by the has been pretty amazingly fast with this phone, and it DOES NOT GET HOT!!!! I love that! My razr maxx used to be a meteorite when it was tethering.

More to come.

I just bought this bundle, seeing as it was much cheaper than buying the camera and accessories seperately. Received it within 2 days with my Prime account, just set up everything up and turned on for first time. Everything that it states is in the package is, plus the battery/charger which it technically doesnt mention. Everything came well packaged, in great condition. Its easy to set up, even without reading the directions thoroughly. The camera itself looks awesome, definitely a stand out product. Can't beat it for the price.

I've had a few tablets, including name brand and so far this is very impressive.

The display is outstanding. The graphics speed very good.

It reminds me of my old Asus. The construction is solid with a metal backing. I personally like the little extra heft.

I've put a 32GB card in it for extra storage, you'll need it.

Battery life so far is good.

It's running android 4.2.2 and I like that.

No issues with compatibility on any apps I've run so far.

Bluetooth 4.0. Works flawlessly.

Connected quickly to my wireless and see's all my network devices.

Wireless speed is very good and so far so it the distance on it.

Ran some of the speed tests and it comes out in the middle of the pack, not bad when it's half the cost!

I had an issue with the first charger with it and their support was very responsive. That's a plus! I had the same issue with my Asus.

Folks, for the price, comparing the features it's hard to beat. I like it!

To sum it up, put a 32gb card in it, speed is very good, battery life is good, it's smooth, construction is very good, the display is great. Hard to beat the price and performance. I'll update as time goes on!

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I am giving this camera four stars because it does take good pictures. Pictures have good color, saturation, and sharp focus. If you get this camera, you will be able to take good pictures in a variety of conditions, but I must be honest and say there might be better cameras in this price range.

What I liked:

1) Had it up and taking pictures in under two minutes without reading instructions.

2) It does take quality pictures. Sharp focus, good contrast, and brilliant saturation.

3) Powerful optical zoom

4) Quality optics

5) Performs well in low light conditions

6) Integrated video capability

What I did not like:

1) Geotagging requires integration with smartphone. Other cameras in this price range have a full featured GPS onboard

2) Wireless upload confusing and possibly nonfunctional

3) Optical zoom/Focus combination is awkward at high zoom levels. In playing with the camera, I constantly "overshoot" on the zoom. I found it very difficult to get the level of zoom I wanted without going to far one side or the other.

4) Autofocus not as intelligent as in similar priced cameras.

This is the bottom line. If you get this camera, you will be able to take excellent digital photographs that you will be proud of, and it is relatively simple to use. The question, however, is whether or not this is the best camera for the money. I have the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX30V digital camera, and it is at the same price point as this Fujifilm camera. The Sony has an onboard GPS, zoom controls work better, focus works better, and works better in low light condition. At the same price, the sony offers much more bang for the buck.

Phottix Mitros+ Plus TTL With Built-in Odin Transmitter And Odin

Phottix Mitros+ Plus TTL With Built-in Odin Transmitter And Odin Receiver For Canon Digital SLR Camera
Customer Ratings: 4 stars

This is a really good product. I bought it to be able to control my Canon flashes via Odin receivers, or to have it off camera being controlled by my Odin transmitter and not bother with receivers, etc.

This flash works wonderfully. I haven't had any glitches so far. However, it is a bit under-powered compared to my Canon 580EX II speedlites. It's close to one stop less powerful. Two thirds of a stop to be exact.

But the biggest drawback is that it heats up real fast -just after about 5 consecutive flashes*, and the heat protection kicks in to extend the recycle time (BTW, with fresh batteries). In the same situation my Canon flashes will go as many as 15 times before the slow recycle kicks in.

The funny thing is that sometimes with the red light off (meaning the flash is not ready to fire), I can still fire it and it produces a normal ETTL illumination as if the light was on and the flash was ready to fire.

All that said,I'm still not 100% sure about my conclusions. More tests are needed. I will get back with more info at some point.

* I never use straight flash. always bouncing off ceilings, walls, etc

The cam I'm using with this flash is Canon 5D Mark II

Edit: A little correction. The flash does not really heat up more than Canon flashes. It's just that the heat protection kicks in too soon. This could probably be addressed in a future firmware update.

Promote Systems Promote Control, Remote Control for Digital SLR

Promote Systems Promote Control, Remote Control for Digital SLR Cameras
Customer Ratings: 4 stars
Buy Now
From my own personal researching efforts, I think this is the only option Canon shooters have for programming Canon cameras to shoot greater than three exposures. The Promote does the job. I can configure the remote to fire off 20+ exposures on my Canon 5D Mark II. This is a huge plus for those wanting to do HDR photography. Not having to touch the camera (potential for moving the camera) during multiple exposures is a wonderful thing.

As for the actual remote, I expected a higher build quality for a $300 remote. The remote has an extreme plastic-y feeling to it and some might suggest that it has a fake knock-off feel to it. However, let me repeat myself, this camera does do what it claims to do. Also, given my propensity to over pack my camera gear and comparing it to the Canon TC-80N3, I found the Promote remote to be unnecessarily large. The Canon TC-80N3 provides a fair amount of functionality at 1/3 the size. But the Canon TC-80N3 doesn't do what the Promote can. And I understand and recognize that.

If you shoot a Canon 5D Mark II, you have to attach two separate wires/cords from the camera to the remote to get full functionality. This is a work flow killer in my opinion. Shooting in portrait mode with a L bracket on a ballhead does provide some challenges when you have to budget for two cords.

Also, if any of your "bracketed" exposures go beyond 30 seconds, there are additional programing steps involved. The shooter needs to switch to a "bulb" exposure. And you need to upgrade the firmware to enable 30+ seconds exposures.

And to conclude, the following comment is based on my experiences on shooting raw files with the Promote. To take 7+ shots with progressively long shutter times, a lot of the camera custom features (i.e. noise reduction) may need to be adjusted or turned off. If the camera needs to take more than a few moments to process the file (raw files from a 5DII are pretty darn big 25mg+), the Promote errors out. The remote, from what I can tell, doesn't adjust for the camera's need to process the image. The remote follows a strict timing sequence. If the camera needs more than what the Promote remote feels is a typical/adequate processing time, the bracketing sequence stops.

All these things are necessarily deal killers but I thought cyberspace would like to know. It took me a bit of time to figure all of this out. If you should buy one, please don't buy this product the day before a major shooting trip. These is a significant learning curve involved with this product. Oh, and the instruction manual is pretty sparse.

**********Update/Effective 8/01/11

I've owned this thing for a year now and I've really gotten the hang of it. I haven't gotten any "timed-out" issues anymore. Learning curve was steep on this one and I consider myself pretty good around electronics.

Here is my work flow for HDR photo taking on a Canon 5D Mark II(assuming camera is on a tripod). These steps are contrary to some of the written instructions for the Promote. Try it out, see if it works for you...

1. Insert plugs into both Promote and Camera

2. Power on Promote (Promote on before camera is vital in my experience.)

3. Power on Camera (Wait approx 20 seconds you won't be able to do much while the camera is syncing up with the Promote. You'll get a "Busy" comment if you try and do an exposure too soon.)

4. In Av mode, in Evaluative Mode/Matrix Metering Mode, dial in your Apeture (f/18 etc...), press the shutter button half way and see what the camera spits out for the shutter speed.

5. In the HDR mode on the Promote, dial in the Shutter speed you got from step 4, how many EV steps, and total amount of exposures.

6. Pop the camera in Manual mode, set the same Apeture you did in step 4 and fire off the Promote. There is no need to manually set the shutter speed here. The Promote will override whatever the last shutter speed setting may have been.

7. If exposure times exceed 30 seconds, the Promote will request that you reset the camera into Blub mode.

This is my work flow for the Promote. Just offering my own humble observations. Thanks. Good luck.

Up until recently I have been using a 8GB card in my 3000 model PSP. To my surprise, this 32GB memory stick actually manages to load nearly everything on my PSP a good deal faster than on my previous memory Stick, which was an amazing perk along with the 29 usable gigabytes of memory on the stick. I cannot think of any downside to this memory stick as a memory storage for all PSP models aside from the the PSP Go, which does not support the Memory stick pro duo format. If you are looking to expand your current PSP's memory for downloadable games or videos and do not wish to upgrade to the UMD-less PSP Go, you cannot do better than investing in the 32GB Lexar memory stick.

Probably the best thing about this lens is that it is almost up to par with Olympus. At best, it is sharp, with beautiful bokeh, etc, etc. Typical quality we expect from Leica-like optics (this isn't really a leica lens, but as close as you can get from Panaasonic's factories.) The bad thing is that it is not nearly as well built as Olympus. No moisture protection, so with an E-3 not a great fit. Also, it suffered from the all-too-typical "Zoom Lock" problem. A screw gets loose and it won't zoom past 25mm or so. It was a fairly easy fix, but not for everyone. A little irritating for a lens costing this much. If you suffer from this problem, please search out on the internet for the repair instructions. The fix is available for the brave ones out there. That having been said, I do like this lens. Just not as much as my spectacular 12-60mm or 11-22, which are almost bullet-proof.

I purchased this to record my daughter's piano recitals. I researched the options and found this to give me the best feature set for the money. What was important to me was easy transfer of files to my PC, good battery life, cheap and expandable media, ease of use, choice of manual and auto record levels, and the ability to change recording levels once recording has started. And of course it should make good sounding recordings!

This device met all of these criteria both on paper an in actual use. To play around with it, I have been recording my daughter's practice sessions. I was shocked at the sound quality even from the built in microphones. The resulting recording had no hiss, had good punch in the low end, didn't audibly distort even when the peak light would light, and had great stereo imaging. Wow! Transferring files to my PC is literally drag-n-drop since the device appears as an external drive when connected to the PC. I've recorded about 5 hours along with about 3 hours of playback and the battery charge indicator still hasn't dropped. This is using the provided alkaline batteries.

I upgraded to a 16GB memory card that cost me

I had been working in the first generation cintiq 21ux for the past 6 years. The new upgrades on cintiqs like cintiq 21ux second generation and cintiq 24hd didnt caught my mind, because screen was so similar to mine. But after going to San Diego comicon 2012, went to the wacom booth, and they had this one, the screen was great, i couldnt believe the contrast when i saw it, didnt look dull gray like my old cintiq.

The goods

-The contrast its really big, it matches my new secondary led screen so perfectly, colors looks so nice, specially the contrast, after adding the color profile colors looked like charm, so i left it in default factory mode.

-Pen pressure its really good, compared to my old cintiq i can feel every single stroke more easier, its like drawing on butter. Gives me more control for finishing touches.

-Tons of extra buttons, its the first time in using a wacom tablet that i dont know what to place in a button, i mean i even have some empty buttons, not the case in past tablets i had used.

-I was so lucky, no dead pixels, the service came fast in my country Mexico from their distributors.

-Lighter in weight than my old cintiq 21ux.

-The black design makes it look sexier on my desktop, the black color helps to focus more in colors.

-Brightest monitor from all cintiqs.

-Buttons feels so nice on touch easily pressed.

-The free software included its awesome im loving the new color filters from color effex pro, its a must have if you are a painter or a photographer, animation software and the rest are awesome.

-Menus on the screen appears while you press it, its really nice feature, if you forget the customization.

No fan noise. Maybe it doesnt have a fan?.

More slim. Its a sexy tablet.

-Resolution looks nicer from past cintiq, widescreen format its great for using panels in color software, past cintiq was almost square, so that didnt help me a lot.

-Pen structure feels nice compared to old cintiq pen, feels great at hand, and its clearly that the plastic thing its not going to get bigger like past version, i really like this new pen.

The bads

-Warranty service can be a bit slow if you get a defective item outside of the country. But even if its long, wacom really care about their clients, im a clear example, they replaced my unit with a new one.

-Unlike my old cintiq 21ux, the ips panel fades a bit more if you move in any direction, so if you are looking for a precise color tablet, you should look for 24hd touch. But still the quality of the display its great, having contrast of 1000:1, you wont notice the little color objections. Probably the cintiq monitor with biggest contrast from all.

-The monitor still heats up a bit, like past cintiqs.

-The screen looks a bit like galssy with sand, but if you look it from far view looks nice, its all about getting used.

-Surface, sadly feels like a plastic surface like past ones, after a while using it, i feel the pen nib scratching the surface, so probably with time scratches will appear, wish this was a gorilla glass screen or something that can protect it. So im probably going to buy a Strong Engineering protective surface, to avoid future scratches.

My conclusion its that this tablet its worth it, i mean i was worried to spend a lot of money just to upgrade a bit from my old cintiq, but after i got it the upgrade gap was huge.

Its the first time i dont want to go sleep just to be glued on the screen working.

You wont regret it.
